I woke up late and looked above the ceiling. I imagined flames rising up and up. I shouted Doctor Help! And I didn't know why. The last time I had seen a fire, a strange man saved my life. I always just called him the doctor. I didn't know how my parents survived though.
I now take therapy because I have fears, fears that I have trouble explaining. I see fake fires in my room, I glare at men in ties, and I scream the word DOCTOR! almost every morning.
My mom calls for breakfast. I run down stairs and I sit into my chair, just thanking god for letting me stay here.
"Isabella, we heard you screaming again." My dad said.
"Oh..." I said, breathing heavy. "I was imagining things again"
"I guess we need to take a trip to therapy again." My mom said.
"Please don't, I don't want Doctor Glur to ask me questions again!"
"Honey we know, that's why we hired a new therapist." My mom said.
"Okay." I said.
After breakfast, I went outside just to clear my head. I looked out in front of me, a blue box was in our yard. I ran inside.
"Mom, do you know where that box came from?" I asked.
"What box?" My mom asked.
"The one outside!" I said.
"There isn't anything there!" My mom said looking out the window.
"Ugh!" I shouted.
I went back outside, and that box was still there. It wasn't a regular box, I forgot to mention. It was a police box. I suddenly saw a man come out of the box, wearing a tie. I ran again, but not into my house. My parents would just ask what is wrong. I hid in the garden, until I saw nothing. But I still could hear voices like: Where are you? Until my mom said:
"Sweets, time for therapy!"
"Coming mom." I said.
Me and my mom had gotten into her car. The police box was gone. Later, I was in the therapy room. A man in a tie was my new therapist.
"Hello Emmy Glair, what is her name?" The man asked.
"Isabella." My mom said.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I am the doctor." He said.
"Doctor who?" I gasped.
"Just, the doctor." He said. "Isabella, I hear that you have been imagining things, do you know why?"
"When I was nine, I experienced a fire." I said. "Then a strange man saved me."
"Huh." The Doctor said.
"Anything you know?" I asked.
"Isabella, I think I know what is happening." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"You have been scared because you are still trying to solve the mystery of that fire." He said.
"Wait, you're actually right!" I said.
"I have something very deep to tell you." He said.
"What is it." I asked.
"I... I saved you from that fire." He said, I gasped even more.
"This Isn't Possible." I said.
