School, yey. Notice the dripping sarcasm over the word 'yey'.
Monday mornings are definitely not my favorite mornings. But I don't like Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nor Friday mornings either.
I turned the shower off and stepped out, drying myself, I blow dried my long dark hair before slipping into my favorite underwear. Yes, I care about my lingerie. My auntie has always told me never to mix and match with underwear since you never know when someone else will see them, and then you'll be happy that you didn't mix your ugliest undies with a neon colored bra. Always dress like a lady.
I dragged myself into my walk-in closet, picking out a white pair of ripped jeans, a wine red tank top and I'll finish of with my leather jacket and a pair of Nike shoes.
Before I walked downstairs, I applied some mascara, eyeliner, concealer, yeah you know, all that stuff. I grabbed my phone and my bag as I walked out of my room.
"Good morning, butter cup." My father pecked my forehead and I scrunched my nose, not liking the nickname he had for me.
"Morning." I smiled and opened the fridge, taking out orange juice and a banana. I wanted my banana's cold, weird, I know. I poured myself a glass of juice as I put the coffee machine on, making a frappé for myself.
"Dad, can I go with Katie's family to their cabin this summer? For a week or so." I asked my father who now sat with his nose deep down in the local paper.
"Yeah, sure." He told me, still reading the paper, "Thanks dad! Have a good day!" I grabbed my car keys and threw the leather jacket on as I slipped into my Nike's. I hang my bag over my arm, and holding my frappé in the hand.
"Hi girl!" Natasha and Katie walked up to me as I arrived to school.
The three of us had known each other since Kindergarden, nothing separates us, ever. Natasha has light brown hair that is gorgeously wavy and mid-length, while Katie's hair is naturally blonde. And she has brain cells, even though sometimes I'm not too sure if she knows how to use them.
When we were younger we called ourselves the Bratz girls, one of our friends back then had pitch black hair, Lucy. Only thinking of it nowadays made us laugh.
"Hi!" I greeted them both with a hug as always. "Have you heard?!" Katie literally jumped up and down like a bouncing ball. "I don't think I have." I laughed at her with Natasha.
"There's a new guy in town!" She squealed, the town that we lived in wasn't big nor small. The different stages in school are all on the same street, everything from Kindergarden to college. Every teenager in our town calls it the helI street, it has it's reasons.
"Ooh! Tell me more!" I crooked arms with Katie, curious about the new boy.
"Well I haven't seen him but Claire texted me that he's kinda the bad boy. Dark eyes and hair, tattoos, muscular and..." Katie caught her breath, Claire is her older sister with two years. "He drives a motorbike!" Katie squealed, joined by me and Natasha.
"But, he's 19..." She told us, Natasha looked a bit disappointed and so did Katie. I couldn't help but feel the same way.
The day passed by surprisingly quickly, soon I walked out to the parking lot, heading towards my car.
I was tapping my phone screen with a speed that made my fingers fly across the screen as I texted Katie, telling her that I was allowed to join her and her family to their summer cabin for a week in the summer, as I had forgot to tell her in person, go me!
Being me, I wasn't exactly paying attention to where I was going, so suddenly I bumped into a damn hard chest and dropping my phone in the progress. "I'm sorry." I mumbled as I kneeled down to get my phone.
As I did so, I saw a pair of black sneakers and dark grey jeans. I got curious, the shoes tell everything about the person, don't they? I got curious and when I stood up I saw the most beautiful guy ever.
He had dark brown hair that was styled into a quiff, his eyes were a warm brown, yet a bit cold.
I saw a glimpse of tattoos on his left arm, hot!
I was snapped out of my gaze by him clearing his throat. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." He apologized with a crooked smile. Did I mention his lips were full, literally perfect. They, no, he made me weak in my knees and I wanted to kiss him so badly. Wait, what?!
"It's fine, I wasn't looking either." I smiled at him, "Then we're even." He smirked. God damn, he sure was beautiful. "Yeah, I think so." I giggled, wow, that wasn't like me, at all.
"I have to go now. I'm still sorry I bumped into you." I told him and he simply nodded.
Wait a second, that couldn't be the new guy... Or was it?
I turned around to see him jump on a black motorbike with a helmet on. Before he drove off he winked at me. I had a weird tingly feeling in my whole body. Was it weird I felt a connection between the two of us?
I shrugged if off as I opened my car, thinking that it was nothing.
"Mom! I'll walk over to Natasha's house to study, I'm probably back around 10 p.m." I shouted through the house, receiving an "Okay!" as an answer.
I grabbed my phone, leaving my bag in my room as me and Natasha were doing a school project on the computer.
I soon walked up the stairs to her family's house, a light brown stone house, almost a mansion, with white details around the windows. I knocked on the white thick wooden door, that soon swung open, revealing her older brother Noel.
"Hi." He smiled and stepped aside, letting me in. "Hi." I returned the smile. Noel was two years older than us and he was the male version of Natasha, obviously. He had the same light brown hair color and his skin was also tanned like Tasha's. Noel's eyes were blue like the ocean, they would get any girl head over heels in love with him.
"Tasha!" He shouted and nodded, meaning she was in her room, I dashed up the stairs to Natasha's room.
"You ready to do some boring school project?" She wiggled her eyebrows as I fell down on her bed. "Nope." I sighed, knowing we wouldn't get anything done.
