Dixon received another text from OE. This time he agreed to meet them in his home. He felt he had the upper hand if he did so, as he knew it inside out. OE was on their way and Dixon was nervous, he hobbled around on his crutches and checked to make sure his living room was most definitely tidy. He then watched the window and waited for OE to arrive. But it was not the OE he was expecting.
In her cell Lucy was defenceless as Mr Gray stood up. He held the spoon in his right hand and held bleach in the other.
"Do you want to talk?"
"I have nothing to say."
"Good," Smiled Mr Gray, "I like inflicting pain." The spoon got closer to Lucy, as did the noise of footsteps, and then a gun shot. Then screaming. Within several seconds, Gray lay on the floor, the spoon out of his reach and blood pouring from his leg. Lucy looked to her left in shock, to see Bernie. Lucy sat flabbergasted. Without saying anything, Bernie lifted the hammer in his left hand, and smashed the lock. Lucy was so fixed on his face she did not see the door swing open.
"Lucy! Come on, lets go!" Alarms had already started ringing, but Lucy just stared aimlessly at Bernie. Lucy got up, then bent down to pick up the spoon.
"If I'm leaving then I'll make my mark. It's all about the marks left, isn't it Mr Gray. You bastard," Lucy kneeled down next to Gray, and plunged her finger into his leg wound, making him squirm, "It hurts, doesn't it. Doesn't it!" Lucy looked satanic.
"Lucy, leave him! I've got you out, I'm not fucking dying for it!"
"One more thing," Lucy raised the spoon, "I have this." The spoon got closer and closer to Gray's eye, and within ten or so seconds, Lucy had bloodied fingers, and Gray no longer had a right eye. Lucy then flipped the spoon round and plunged the handle into Gray's eye socket. His screams grew louder and he kicked her down. She got up, kicked him in the head and walked to Bernie.
"What the fuck was that?"
"That was man. That was God." Bernie turned round to see G. R. E. E. N guards shooting at them. In retaliation Lucy grabbed Bernie's gun and shot each down. Bernie grabbed her hand and ran in the direction the guards came from, leading to a dead end and a waste shoot. Bernie pulled open the hatch and Lucy was first down it. Bernie then followed and the hatch closed. Know one knowing where the two went. All except for Megra.
After climbing out of the skip beneath full of chemicals, paper and instruments from a lab, Bernie pulled out the phone Megra gave to him five months ago, and used it to find Dixon's location. G. R. E. E. N never really lost him, and he kept the phone Megra gave him as that is how OE had messaged him.
Meanwhile Megra was discussing plans with a fellow G. R. E. E. N member. Using the code of the shades, she planned to weaponise Malaria to end the rising populations of humans as rescources are already being fought over. She planned to have employees of G. R. E. E. N in every Government in the world, and planned to build a terrorist network, to bring the most powerful countries who will oppose her, down. Megra had dark insides, and could hold her own in any fight. Her mother and father knew she was gifted with intelligence, but always stuck to the thought that eventually the world will tear itself apart, and she made it her mission and almost religious duty to prevent that from happening. She did well at school but at the time she had another name, and was another person.
Bernie and Lucy reached Dixon's house, and as they got closer to it, they heard shouting. And a lot of it. Bernie and Lucy hadn't had time to talk as they had been running, keen to avoid the looks they got from people in the street. Dixon came to open the door, and Lucy and Bernie barged past him.
"Lucy! Bernie? What?" They walked straight into the living room, where OE stood up, and where Lucy slumped back against the door frame.
"Oh my god." Bernie let out. Dixon walked up behind Bernie.
"When I got my phone from Megra, I started getting messages signed OE. This is OE." In front of the three of them stood a person they thought was long gone. ROach BEcket.
