7. My best friends a vampire
I felt a familiar surface beneath me. It was cool yet warm. It was just so.... Natural to be where I was. I opened my eyes and there was... Resse? "Resse?" I barely croaked. "Ari!" He tossed me on a bed. I felt the comforter. It smelled like Resse. I missed his scent. "Ahh Resse, what a normal and ungraceful landing for me." I joked. Then I immediately brought my hand to my neck. Two little holes. I looked at him alarmed. "Resse what happened?" I asked. "I can't tell you." He blurted. "But I can guess." I whispered, remembering his letter. "How did you..." He began. "Your letter." Was all I said. He looked furious. "How did you know about that!?" He yelled. "Your letter. Your mom." Was all I said. He took a few breaths. "Can I guess?" He glared. "What?" He growled. "Can guess. What you are." He shook his head. "Sure, sorry." "Hmm... Cool skin, only shows up on cloudy days, I'd have to say... Vampire." I said nervously. "He smiled darkly. "For the first time, Ari, your right. And... So are my roommates." He smirked. I stood up. "Ari your taking this well..." I shrugged. "My best friend being a vampire isn't the weirdest think that's happened to me." He just rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Your a very strange girl Ari. Very strange indeed.
"My best friend being a vampire isn't the weirdest thing to happen to me."
