28. Chapter Twenty-Eight

Chapter 28 ~ Aislins POV

There I was, leaving my past behind. I’m going to become a new person, a british person. I was the only young adult on the plane. Adults were giving me looks just because I was alone on the plane. The flight attendants made sure that I was there, every time they walked by and steered the creepers away from me.

“Please fasten your seatbelts, we’re going to be taking off,” the pilot said.

A couple across the aisle from me, and I’m all by myself. I have to flights in order for me to get over to London.

I fell asleep for about an hour to New York. That’s the first stop, and then I have to wait for about an hour before the flight from London comes.

Once I sat down in New York's airport, a guy around my age sat down next to me. I kind of glanced at him, and he was pretty cute.

“Wait...Aislin...you just broke up with Conner. You can’t already like another guy!” My conscious screamed at me.

I looked down at my phone and I saw that Conner was texting me. I had about, I think five messages from him. I unlocked my phone and read all of the messages.

Conner: Alisin, I think we need to talk

Conner: Alisin?

Conner: Are you still pissed at me?

Conner: Hello?

All I did was read the messages. I could feel some eyes staring at me and I think it was the guy that’s sitting next to me. I looked at him, and he quickly looked away, blushing. I then figured out what I could say to Conner.

Aislin: I already told you why I broke up with you. You stopped talking to me and I was pissed at you and I still am. Give me a few weeks and I don’t want to see your name pop up on my phone for a while. Goodbye Conner.

I hit send, once they called my next flight. I handed the person at the desk my ticket and found my seat.

“Is this seat, 32?” A males voice asked.

I looked up and saw that it was the guy sitting next to me. His voice was a thick british accent.

“Yes,” I responded.

He sat down next to me and just kind of, didn't know what to do. I think that he was nervous because of what happened earlier. I guess I’ll find out once the plane takes off.
