14. Chapter Fourteen

Chapter 14 ~ Aislins POV

I woke up to music going off in the house. I got closer to the stairs and heard that it was coming from the second floor. I quietly crept down the stairs and saw that the exercise room door was closed. That’s when I figured out that my mom was exercising. I ran back upstairs and started on my last section of my homework.

“We've got a bit of love/hate You take me to the edge then you hit the brakes I say it's over one day, But then I'm crawling back begging you to stay We make up and we break up all the time I'll say that I hate a song, Then you'll go request it the whole night long Some people say it's so wrong but even when we fight, Girl, you turn me on We make up and we break up all the time. We're like na, na, na Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah Always like na, na, na Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah. No, we can't make up our minds 'Cause when we think we've got it right. We go na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na. You wanna party too late But when I do the same all you do is complain. You know that it drives me insane. When I get with you girl you make it okay. We make up and we break up all the time. We're like na, na, na Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah Always like na, na, na Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah. No, we can't make up our minds 'Cause when we think we've got it right. We go na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, yeah, yeah, yeah [2x] Oh oh oh... It drives me mad, oh Na [20x] We're like na, na, na. Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah Always like na, na, na Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah. We're like na, na, na Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah Always like na, na, na Then we're like yeah, yeah, yeah. No, we can't make up our minds 'Cause when we think we've got it right. We go na, na, na, na,” I sang while I jammed out to my music.

Then I realised that I was leaving in a couple days and that I need to explore London a little. I finished up my homework and changed into weather appropriate clothes. I grabbed a purse and my jacket. I knocked on the exercise room door, and my mom opened it.

“I’m going to go explore London and maybe do some shopping,” I told her.

“Okay. There’s a hundred fifty in my wallet that you can take with you,” she responded.

I took the hundred fifty from her purse and walked out the door. I started walking around London. I saw one store called America Is Calling. I walked in and noticed that they had some really cute clothing. I grabbed a few shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses, and two pairs of shoes. I tried them all on and instantly fell in love with them.

“Thank you,” I told the cashier.

“Your welcome. Have a great day!” she responded.

  “You too!”

I walked out of the store and continued exploring London. I went on the London Eye, saw Parliament, and Big Ben. I walked passed a crying girl. She looked around my age. I sat down next to her.

  “Are you okay?” I asked.

“No…” She responded. “My boss just fired me because I wished a customer to have a great day.”

  “Where did you work?”

  “America Is Calling.”

“I’m the customer that you wished to have a great day!”

  “Really!?!?”

  “Yeah! I’m Aislin.”

  “Rachel.’

“Do you want to come shopping with me?”

  “Sure!”

I spent the next three hours shopping with Rachel. I found out that she was living in a small apartment and was fifteen. Her aunt lives in the apartment with her and she had to find a new job now. Afterwards we exchanged numbers and I headed home to eat dinner and then talk with Conner or Caitlyn tonight.
