The Landia babies, with Kirby and his crew on their backs, burst through the dimension only to face a horde of purple, winged creatures. Kirby's Landia breathed a huge stream of fire which engulfed the creatures, who popped bloodlessly.
Ahead was a few twists and turns, but Landia knew the way through. Dodging green, yellow-eyed creatures along the way, Landia led the way for the other babies.
Finally, a series of bust crushers crossed their path. "I'll go in first," said the head Landia. "See the crooked holes in between?"
"Yes," said Kirby and the other three Landia babies at once.
"We'll take turns flying under each one, then sprint for the next. Follow me and none of you will be harmed."
Gosh, Waddle Dee thought. Landia's not only a good guy, he's almost as good at leading as Kirby.
Landis's plan worked perfectly. All four dragons and their riders were unharmed.
"See what teamwork can do?" Landia asked.
Kirby smiled. "I always have...look out!" Giant crystals slowly hurdled toward them.
"Now don't panic, and do as I do," Landia said, and did a spectacular swoop to avoid them and took out a floating minion in the process. The other three did the same.
This guy's great, thought Kirby. Glad he's on our side.
Just then they reached Magolor in transit. "Ooh, glad to see the pink marshmallow finally made his entrance," Magolor said as the Landias hovered face-to-face with him. Now having possessed the Starcutter, Magolor ordered it to attack them. Now covered in red markings, the Starcutter Kirby had just barely fixed flew out from a star and opened fire.
"Stay on my back," Landia said, "and you will not be harmed." Landia dodged the oncoming laser blasts and breathed bullet-like flames at it. The others followed and attacked. After unleashing a few colored beams, the Starcutter ignited a force field and zoomed past the heroes. Then it returned with a barrage of laser blasts. "Move!" Landia screamed. The other babies followed and dodged the blasts before returning and continuing to breathe fire.
Suddenly, an explosion consumed the Starcutter...and cleared away, revealing the Starcutter intact. It fired a giant, all-consuming tornado, which Landia flew around to avoid. The Starcutter spun in place to follow Landia's pattern, but failed to batter them. Furious, Magolor released his own ammo--giant darts from behind the safety of his ship. The Landias dodged them, but the darts clipped one of their targets' wings. Waddle Dee shuddered, inable to keep his eyes off Landia's wing. It was hard to keep up with the fight ahead, but Landia finally managed. Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede's Landias were making progress when Waddle Dee's Landia zoomed ahead and gave the final blow.
Magolor growled in rage as the Starcutter spun out of control and toward whatever lied below them. Finally, once the Starcutter was out of sight, Magolor zoomed ahead.
"We can't let him get away!" Landia said. From here, Planet Popstar wasn't far. "Follow me!"
"I'll do my best," said Waddle Dee's Landia. All four dragons zoomed through the dimension and quickly caught up with Magolor.
"Surrender, traitor," said Kirby. "Your rule is at its end."
"I could do that..." said Magolor. "Or you could...eat my ammo!" Magolor generated two beams from his hand and hurled them at his enemies. Meta Knight deflected both of them effortlessly.
"What now, Maggie?" King Dedede asked.
Magolor generated a handful of purple electroballs and hurled all 8 at his enemies. First Waddle Dee's crippled dragon was hit, knocking Waddle Dee off. Then King Dedede. Meta Knight managed to deflect the first few, but the balls kept coming. Finally, Meta Knight missed one and his Landia took a hit, causing it to stagger and drop its rider. Kirby's Landia was next. All four fell toward an electric planet below.
They never learn, do they? Magolor tapped into the Master Crown's power, letting it consume him entirely. His face turned pale, a jewel formed on his crown, and his now red flames glowed far brighter. Then he zoomed toward the planet and landed. Kirby had found a sword somewhere. He twirled a series of electroballs, ready to throw them. That's when Kirby realized it was time. Thus he took up his sword against his old friend.
