"You did it, Kirby!" said Magolor as he attached the part. "My ship has it's right wing back in place!"
Kirby smiled at his friends, and they smiled back.
"I'm so proud of you Kirby. You give with no thought of reward. And yet I have a gift for you."
Kirby perked up.
"Once we find all those parts and this baby can fly again, I'll take you on a trip to visit my homeworld! I come from a distant land...It lies at the end of an interdimensional tunnel connected to your planet. It's really far away, but the Lor is a beast. It can get us there in no time! I do hope you'll take me up on my generous offer."
"Sounds great!" Kirby turned to his friends. "What do you think?"
All three of them nodded their approval.
Kirby's mind was racing with questions for Magolor. "Magolor, I noticed that Mr. Dooter's invincibility was... malfunctioning."
"A life scale," Magolor said deeply. "Kirby, Mr. Dooter, and many of the Grand Doomer's other henchmen--and even minions--have a limited life. The scale is invisible to the eyes of an avatar. Their strength slowly disappears, but they'll keep fighting until it's gone---or you're gone. You saw him swell, didn't you?"
"I did," said Kirby. "But why?"
"He knew his life scale was halfway gone. His attacks became far more desperate, to the extent of mere ferocity. You will find that almost all the Grand Doomer's henchmen have one."
"And one more thing," said Kirby. "There were a few minions who could resist my inhale. What should I do?"
"You need a Copy Ability."
"When you eat a minion, you can take his weapon into your hands. But you have to practice this move. With training, your body can become attuned to the villain. Minions like Scarfies can be socked by a floating fist, slashed by a shining sword, or burned by a blazing flame. There are many more minions with many other weapons you can consume and use to your advantage."
Kirby nodded. "But how long does it take to learn this? We need to find those other parts!"
"Not long," said Magolor. "Not long at all."
