"You don't have to stand there Draco. Harry asked you, to join our celebration. Come and sit with us.", I begged him.
He sat down on the armchair I had offered him but still looked around uneasily. It was his first time, in the Gryffindor common room and he didn't feel welcomed at all. Which he probably wasn't anyways.
"Do you wanna go for a walk?", I asked him and he nodded, quickly standing up again.
I followed him into the hallway and his flexed muscles relaxed instantly.
"Let's go to my favorite place.", Draco offered and I nodded, taking his hand in mine.
Together, we walked towards the room of requirement. He covered my eyes and carefully led me into the room, gently uncovering my eyes then. It was beautiful, we were standing next to a small hut, on top of a cliff. The stormy sea splashing against the rocks, salty air rushing into my lungs made it feel like really being outside.
"This is your favorite place?", I asked Draco and walked towards him.
We were standing right at the ledge of the cliff and stared at the horizon.
"Yes, it is," he whispered, "it's where my mother took me to, when my dad had 'visitors'."
"Draco," I whispered, "do you really love me?"
He looked at me and frowned.
"I thought, we were done with this topic.", he grumbled but hugged me tightly.
"Hermione Jean Granger, you're the most precious gift, that has been given to me. I know how uncomfortable you felt," he paused shortly, before continuing, "during christmas holidays-"
"It's not about meeting him. I love you more than life itself and I am ready to sincerely join them. We will die together, or not at all.", I explained him.
"You want to become a Death Eater?", he choked, unbelieving.
