6. Chapter 6
"You guys are together now?" asked Carter. Right after the date that Eleanor and I had, I called Carter and told her all about it. "mhm" I said. Carter didn't seem too excited about it but she was pretty happy for me. "Well, you guys are really cute together" Said Carter. I smiled to myself. "Can we meet up somewhere?" I asked. "Sure?" Said Carter. "Alright. Meet my by the lamp-post that's right in front of the frozen yogurt stop" I said and then hung up without her opinion. The one thing that I didn't tell Carter was that we kissed. It's not that big of a deal though. When I was on the phone with Carter, I was sitting in my car in front of the frozen yogurt shop. I got out of my car and walked over to the frozen yogurt shop. I walked inside and ordered some yogurt for Carter and I. I got Carter cake batter with Nellas in it and I got cookie doe and left it like that. Once I paid for the yogurt and got it, I walked outside and saw that Carter was already at the lamp post. Instead of walking over to her, I stood from afar and watched her. Carter would occasionally check her phone, probably seeing how long I was taking. I smiled to myself. Any guy would be lucky to have her. They just don't realize it. Carter is a beautiful girl. She has a perfect personality and she's basically everything a guy need's rolled up inside one person. I'm glad to have Carter as my best friend. I walked up behind her and put the frozen yogurt in front of her face. Carter jumped back. I chuckled. "Aw thank you Louis" Thanked Carter. "It's your favorite" I said. Carter took a bight out of it and smiled. "So I guess you've stopped with the huge hugs that you gave me" I said. I smile and opened my arms. Carter smiled and walked into my arms. Carter sighed. "What's wrong?" I asked. "It's nothing" Said Carter as she let go of me. Carter walked over to a bench that was right under the lamp post and sat down. I walked over and sat down right next to her. I put me arm over her shoulder but she scooted away and rested her feet on the bench. I sighed. "So Eleanor came up with the idea that Eleanor's best friend and you can meet" I said. Carter nodded her head "Sound's fun, I'll do it". I smiled.
Carter and I talked about a bunch of random stuff until she pointed out the field that was right across the street. "Let's go over there" said Carter. Carter got up from the bench and I followed her. We ran across the street and into the field. When we were in the center of the field, Carter looked up and frowned. "What?" I asked. "I thought that we would be able to see stars from up here but I guess not" Said Carter. I smiled and took her hand. I pulled over to my car and told her to get in. She did and I also did. "Where are we going" Carter asked. "It's a surprise" Said Louis. Carter nodded her head and smiled. "Wait put this on to cover your eyes" I said lifting up a bandanna. "Louis" Carter wined. I did a puppy dog face and Carter sighed "Fine". Carter put the bandanna on and I pulled out of the parking lot.
When we arrived to the place, I parked the car and got out. I walked over to the other side of the car and helped Carter out of the car. I lead her over to a spot and helped her take the bandanna. "Alright. Are you ready?" I asked. Carter nodded her head. I took the bandanna off and Carter gasped. "Oh Louis it's beautiful" Said Carter. I nodded. I took her up the mountain and to a higher place so that she was able to see that stars. While she was watching the stars, I walked over to my car and pulled a blanket out. I laid the blanket down in front of my car and sat down on it clearing my throat. Carter turned around and smiled at me. She came over to me and sat down right next to me. We both laid down in silence, watching the stars. "You should take Eleanor up here. She'd love it" Said Carter. "Maybe I should" I said.
