We all live with the objective of being happy, our lives are all different and yet the same.
"Sit there okay?"
I laughed as I looked up at him, taking my seat in the designated chair. "I heard you the first time, Harry. Calm down."
"I'm just...nervous, I guess."
"I've seen you sing plenty of times. What is so different now?"
"Those were songs that I've written with the guys but I made this one for you. Just for you."
I smiled to give him some encouragement and pecked his cheek when he bent down. "Go ahead and sing for me pretty boy" I giggled. Harry playfully rolled his eyes and smiled, "Hate that name." "Well Louis seems to love calling you it." He chuckled while shaking his head.
"Now go" I insisted, nodding towards the booth. "I want to hear." Being with Harry for just this past month has been amazing but for some reason he never wanted me to listen to him sing. I had a deep assumption that he thought I'd disappear again like when he was younger. I wouldn't. I promised him and myself that. I loved him too much.
He uneasily smiled at me before turning and entering the room. He put on some type of ear phones and spoke through the speakers. "So this song means a lot to me and the guys because...well we all put a piece of us into it. I-I'm...um...just gonna sing my part, okay?"
"Don't be nervous."
He tapped his ear phones and lightly smiled, "I can't hear you."
I blew him a kiss instead, the tinge on his face going unnoticed. He closed his eyes and leaned closer to the mic.
"You and I..." My mouth lightly gaped when I heard the first few words flow from between his forever pouty lips.
"We don't wanna be like them
We can make it till the end
Nothing can come between you and I. "
He opened his eyes and looked through the glass directly at me.
"Not even the Gods above can separate the two of us
No nothing can come between you and I
Oh, you and I"
I felt a warm tears build up behind my eyes but I couldn't, just couldn't, let them fall. He bit at his lip and slowly took off the equipment. I stood from my seat and waited as he made his way to the door, opened it, and just looked at me.
"I loved it" I finally spoke as a soft smile spread on my face. "You...you wrote that bit?"
"Well, the guys helped." He started walking towards me, "You really like it?"
"Of course." I stepped toward him and laid my palm flat against his chest. "You're still nervous."
He nervously laughed and removed my hand, "A bit, yes."
I leaned up and kissed him softly. "I thought it was beautiful, really meant something" I whispered.
His hands rested on the curve of my lower back and brought me closer. "It did. At the time I thought that maybe you'd hear somehow and...come back. I wanted you back so much." He squeezed his eyes closed almost in pain but I laid my fingers on his cheek to soothe him.
"I'm here, Harry. I'm here now."
He slightly shook his head and fluttered open his eyes, "I know. It was just a bittersweet time for me and I'm just starting to get used to this."
"I was happy that I was with the guys who made me laugh and could sing with them but you weren't there and it kind of dimmed out my emotions."
I shook my head and looked elsewhere. I never meant for that to happen and every time I look at him it reminds me of the time I lost with him. I felt his fingers on my chin, tilting my head so I'd look at him.
"I'm sorry for bringing it up all the time. I just-"
"I know." I reached up and ran my fingers through his ever-growing hair. "Now I'll just have to cheer you up."
"How are you gonna do that?"
"Well you did practically drag me from bed so I guess I'll just have to drag you back with me."
A smile spread on his face along with a tinge to his cheeks. "You are a racy little thing now."
"Well I was the former goddess of pleasure if you hadn't known."
"You still are." He pinched my sides and buried his face in my neck, nipping at my tender skin. "You're my goddess of pleasure."
I couldn't help the giggle that came from my elation. "I'm ticklish there."
"I know where else you're ticklish."
A/N: That, ladies and gentleman, was the last chapter but hold your horses. There's an epilogue. I know this was short but only because I think last chapters should be short, sweet, and to the point. I recently learned that that makes a story.
Ok so my big announcement is....THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK OF A SERIES.
I know I said that my Zayn story (Losing It, check it out) was my last but my little brother (Muffin) gave me the greatest idea. I get tired of writing fan fiction sometimes but when I have a good story I have to write it.
I decided to make this the first book of the Elysium series. They will all be around this length if not longer and will have to do with myths. If you're not a big fan of these types of stories please give it a chance. They're really fun to read an you never know what character is capable of what.
If you fan me/go to my page you'll be able to see the cover of the next book.
Thank you all soooo much for reading and please expect the epilogue soon.
