" Taylor, stop," I whisper as he kisses my neck.
He doesn't stop.
" Taylor!" I screech, pushing him of of me.
" Ow! What?" Taylor says, moving back down to his seat. He huffs and runs his fingers through his hair. I can tell that he's upset about something, but after that incident, I don't really care.
" I can't believe you! I know you heard me tell you to stop!" I say, my hands balling up into little fists.
" Tara, you used to be crazy about that kind of stuff! You used to love the sex and kissing and-"
" And it got me pregnant." I say.
" I know that! I also know that it's not all my fault! I know that you still have feelings for me and that you love me more than you know how to express and that you can't imagine your life without me, so I don't know why you're acting like this all of a sudden," he says, his eyes cutting a sharp look at me.
" It's not all of a sudden! I got pregnant and you bailed on me!" I shout.
" Dammit, Tara! I'm tired of you saying that! If you were me, would you have admitted to getting a girl pregnant in high school? Huh? Didn't think so!"
" Just take me home," I whisper, my voice shaking as tears roll down my face. I understand how ashamed he is. But I'm ten times more ashamed than he is.
We drive back to Tarpon Springs in silence. No radio. No talking. Total silence.
Then I start feeling a pain like period cramps.
" Ow ow owww," I say, grabbing my stomach.
" Shit! Tara, what's wrong?" he says, pulling over.
" It feels like I'm having cramps," I whine.
" This is what happened to my mom right before her water broke when she had Bryce," Taylor says, his eyes going wide.
" What?" I asked in a shrill.
