The boys and I ran out onto the stage as we were soon engulfed in 70,000 fans. This was the last concert of the whole tour, and it was in Los Angeles, California. I was extremely upset that it would all be over after tonight, but I was also secretly wishing it could've been tomorrow or something. I mean, I wasn't exactly as pumped for the show as much as the other boys were. I was still hung up on Lily and I practically had to force a smile on my face.
"How we doing tonight, Los Angeles?!" Niall screamed into the mic as the crowd roared with excitement.
I heard as the music for Rock Me started playing
We all sung the song fine, but I was still distracted by Lily. I wanted to meet her so bad; at this point I didn't care what Jennifer Perry or Zayn or Niall or any of the boys said. She was beautiful, and even if she wasn't interested, I just wanted to have a normal conversation with her. Just once, I wanted to talk to Lily, but the question was, would I ever?
"Thank you so much, Los Angeles!!" Zayn shouted, cutting off my thoughts.
"You guys are absolutely amazing!"
The boys looked at me, as if I was supposed to say something. I decided to stop being in the dark and start getting into our last show.
"We just want to say a massive thank you to all of you who came out today!" I shouted, making it short and simple, hoping someone else would take over.
Liam noticed I was kind of out of it, so he took over the talking. "And thank you for supporting us on YouTube and buying the Red Nose Day song-"
"Which we're going to play for you right now!!" Niall had cut him off. I knew that One Way Or Another was one of his favourites.
We all had fun, jumping around to the song, and I eventually soon forgot about Lily, but soon after the song ended I couldn't get my mind off her. I had a feeling it was going to be like this all night.
I stood in front of a green screen in a pink tank top and black shorts that both had the logo, Jack Wills, on it. A man, Tommy, stood next to Miss Alex taking shots of me as a striked a few cute poses. It was the first actual photo shoot and I was super nervous. Miss Alex said she wanted to observe the way I modeled because she wasn't at the interview. She kept looking at me and I honestly couldn't read the expression on her face.
"Stop, stop!" Miss Alex abruptly stopped Tommy, and I put down my arms due to the pose I was currently in. "Tommy, take five. Lily, come here."
I quickly crossed over to where Miss Alex was standing. She was a tiny bit taller than me, but it wasn't her height that scared me. It was her attitude.
"Yes, Miss Alex?" I asked as politely as possible.
"What the hell are you doing?"
I was confused by her question. "I'm modeling, just like you told me to."
"You look like a dancer who forgot her dance onstage and is improvising the whole thing."
"Well, I mean it's not-"
"I swear, if you're about to say it's not the worst thing you are one hundred percent wrong, girl. This needs to be big, and it's not!"
Rude. "I'm sorry, Miss Alex. How should I look?"
"Like every model! Sexy, beautiful, stunning!"
"You're not trying hard enough!"
"Miss Alex I swear, I'm just-"
"No, you're nothing. Come on, Tommy. We're done for today."
She simply turned around and left, with Tommy trailing behind her. I felt my face get all red as tears began running down my cheeks faster than bullets. I ran to my dressing room and slammed the door. There was a couch and a small mirror with my name above it, it wasn't very big but it was something. I crawled up onto the couch, crying like there was no tomorrow. I felt worthless. 'You're nothing.' Her voice echoed in my head over and over.
Is that what everyone thinks about me?
