A week has gone by and here I am in the passenger's seat of Patricia's car. I know you're like 'Where are you going?' well to make a long story short, Patricia bought a house for Harry and I.
I sighed inwardly. Don't get me wrong, Harry's a very sweet guy with a kind heart, chocolate curly hair, dimples, orbs the shade of my favorite gemstone (emerald), large hands… you get the point but we deserve to with someone we truly love. Its not fair for the both of us.
We arrived at a very beautiful house which to my surprise I liked. I kept my cool because Patricia will think I've softened up to the idea of marrying Harry. As I stepped out of the car, Harry and his mum had pulled up. I rolled my eyes as Patricia practically dragged me over to them.
"Do not screw this up." She said sharply.
"Oh you have my word." I said sarcastically.
She rolled her eyes at me. Once we reach Harry and Anne, Patricia gave me a gentle push towards Harry which made me crash into his chest. He caught just before we backed away.
"You okay?" He asked concerned.
I nodded giving him a fake smile. "Just peachy."
He looked at me. His eyes saying 'you'll tell me later on'. He released his grip on me and I straightened up.
"Okay so are we going inside or not? The house isn't going to open itself." I joked. Anne chuckled while Patricia scowled at me.
We followed both of them to the front door and Patricia pulled out a key.
"Here you go Harry. Go on open the door." Anne said excitingly.
Harry looked at me shooting a smile my way (which made my heart flutter) and put the key in the lock. He unlocked it and opened the door.
Well lets just say that the view was nice. I walked in looking around. I turn to my left and I saw a family room. I smiled seeing how beautiful it was. I walked back to see Patricia and Anne in the doorway talking about God knows what.
I went to the right and saw the living room. It was really beautiful. Beside the living room was the most gorgeous kitchen I had ever seen. I am definitely going to love cooking in here.
I went back into that same hallway and headed up the stairs. I first saw a room the size of Daphne's room. Okay this is the room I'm having. I know you guys are like 'Why not stay with Harry in a room?' well I don't like the idea of having to sleep in the same room with a person I've only known for 2 days.
I walked out of the room and went inside the next one. I could tell this room was a guest room. You never know when you're going to have a guest. I just remembered Eleanor is coming tomorrow. I left the guest room and went into the room next to it(which was the room near the balcony of the stairs). I opened the door and stepped in.
What the hell? This room was a nursery? Why the hell would Patricia… unless
"Patricia?" I yelled.
Harry was the first to arrive. When he saw the room, his expression was the same as mines. Confused. I heard footsteps come up and Patricia and Anne appeared.
"What is this?" Angie asked turning towards mum and Patricia.
She looked at her as if she was dumb. "Its a nursery."
"And why do we have a nursery? What makes you so sure that my first child will be a girl?"
Patricia smirked at her. "Everyone in our family had girls first."
Angie put her hand on her forehead and groaned.
"I can't take this." She mumbled. She push past Patricia, went down the stairs, and out the door. I sighed to myself. She's so broken.
"Don't worry I'll go get her." I reassured mum. She nodded and gave me a sad smile.
"Thank you Harry." Patricia said smiling. I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Yeah sure." I said with unsureness. I walk down the stairs and out the door. I spotted her in Patricia's car talking on the phone. She hanged up and put her head in her hands.
I walked over and tapped on the window. She looked up, her chocolate eyes flashing anger and despair. I opened the car door and kneeled down to her height.
She looked away from me but I put my hand under her chin and turned her face towards me. I removed my hands from her face.
"Hi." She faked smiled.
I frowned at her. I needed a sincere smile. I need to fix her. I need to protect her. I need to be her friend. A friend that she can rely on.
She saw my frown and her whole face turned into a worried expression. "What's up?"
I cupped her cheek into my hand.
"You're so broken."
She rolled her eyes. "I know."
We stayed like that for a few minutes.
"Can I hug you?" She blurted out.
I looked up at her in confusion.
"I just need a hug right. Hugging helps also. It mends the pain for a period time." She explained holding out her arms.
I pulled her into my chest and embraced her. She wrapped her arms around my neck and her head in the crook of my neck. I lift up her body and sat in the seat with her on my lap. I played in her hair, looking down on her every now and then.
"Harry?" She said.
"Yes love?" I asked.
"Harry?" I said.
"Yes love?" He responded.
My heart fluttered at his nickname for me. I tried to ignore the rapid beating of my heart but no such luck.
"I know that we're… engaged and all but, away from public eye, what are we?" I asked.
He had this thinking face which was really adorable. The way his lips pursed and his eyes flashed nervousness and… sadness?
"Well we can be… just friends?" He asked.
I thought for a moment then nodded. "Yeah friends is good."
He nodded looking away from me as if he was in deep thought. I teared my gaze away from him and towards my house.
"Oh I have something to give you." He blurted out.
I looked at him. "What?"
He started to get up so I released my grip from his neck. He stood up pulling me with him.
I had this look of confusion on his face.
What is this boy up to?
I could see the confusion on her face like broad daylight.
I got down on one knee and held her right hand.
"Angeline Marie Paterson, I know I've only known you for 2 days and this is arranged and all, but you do have a choice to answer this question. I will spend every waking day trying to make you whole again. Will you do the honor of marrying me?" He asked taking out a velvet box revealing a very beautiful ring.
I gasped and put my hand over my mouth. It was so beautiful. I looked into Harry's eyes and saw anxiousness. This boy has promised to mend me again.
"Yes." I squeaked.
A smile appeared on his face and he scooped me up in his arms and twirled me around. I laughed as he sat me down. He looked at me and laughed along with me. I looked at his eyes. They were green but had a tint of yellow and blue.
I hadn't realize that we were both leaning in until our lips crashed together.
I'm guessing we're going to be the best of friends.
