“Do we have everything,” Niall asked.
“Clothes,” listed Louis.
“Check,” Calum answered. I groaned and jumped up onto the hood of the trailer. This is going to take forever.
30 minutes later
“All right then we have everything,” Louis concluded.
I climbed off and yanked the car door open.
“We are we going first,” I asked as I slipped into the back with Calum.
“New York City,” Niall answered from the shotgun seat.
“WHOOO,” Louis shouted.
I suddenly felt very uncomfortable with letting Louis drive.
“How long to go from New Jersey to New York,” I whispered.
“An hour and 30 minutes,” Calum replied.
“Hey Ash,” Niall called.
“What?” I asked.
“Do your parents know you’re leaving for a year,” he questioned.
An hour and 30 minutes later:
“Hey Ash,” I heard Calum say through the hazy dream state I was in.
“What,” I grunted.
“We’re here,” he replied.
I squinted out the window and let out of breathless ‘whoa’ at the sight. We started driving in the afternoon so by the time we got to NYC, it was night.
The lights and the buildings were absolutely beautiful; I’ve never seen anything like them.
“Aren’t you glad you came,” Louis teased.
“More then glad,” I said.
I pressed my cheek against the window and didn’t tear my eyes away from the lights as we drove deeper into the city that never sleeps.
“What hotel are we staying at?” I asked.
Niall shifted in his seat and turned towards Louis who bit his bottom lip harshly.
“Lads,” Calum repeated. “What hotel are we staying at?”
“Right so about that we’re not staying at a hotel,” Niall answered.
“OMG! WHAT THE HELL,” I shouted.
“WHERE ARE WE STAYING,” Calum yelled.
“Relax,” Louis said. “We staying with my friend. You’ll love him.”
I leaned back on the seat and sighed. Louis’s friends are always too hard to handle and are constantly out of control.
I wonder who the friend is?
