I woke up when Perrie talked to someone. I sat up on the couch and I looked away towards the hall. I saw Eleanor and they whispered to each other. I swallowed and I wondered if I would be curious or not? Right as it was, they saw that I was awake and Eleanor smiled uncertainly.
"How are you?"
"I live,,," I know! I could have said something else, but I couldn't come up with a good answers. Eleanor came into the room and Perrie followed. I saw at them they hesitated and I was almost annoyed.
"Sorry about yesterday." I said why and I took my feet down on the floor. "It just got too much and I don't know what happened."
None of them cared. Instead sat Perrie down on the table in front of me and she looked serious.
"That's not why Eleanor got here."
I looked up at them. They didn't look happy and they seemed uncertain.
"Then why..." I swallowed. "... why did she come over?"
"Yesterday..." began Perrie. "Yesterday was a pretty rough day for everyone?"
"Not for you?"
"Yes, but it was fun to win over Louis."
Eleanor gave Perrie a quick glance and then she looked at me again.
"When you were sitting at the bar..." she paused and then she forced the words out. "Niall derailed and we haven't seen him so angry before."
Perrie nodded and she blushed.
"He told us about what had happened."
I felt a lump grew in my stomach. I realized that it was I who was the idiot now and not Niall.
"I ..." I whispered uncertainly. "I panicked and I wanted to be the one..."
I didn't know how I would explain it to them. I looked down at my hands.
"I wanted to be the one who threw him out before he had a chance to hurt me."
Perrie smiled calming to me.
"It was exactly what I said to him, but he's..."
She didn't got out more words. It was as if they didn't get up the truth.
"What happened?" I whispered. Perrie sighed a little bit and she sat down on the couch beside me.
I just wanted to cry.
She put her hand around my shoulder.
"You have to talk to him before he does something stupid."
"Yes, he might go back to his old life and becomes an idiot again?"
I understood what she meant.
I was shaking in my legs and my whole body was scared. I crept up the stairs and I stood in front of his door. Niall was at home, that had Perrie found out. I was scared and I knew he could throw me out if he wanted to. Still, I gathered courage and I knocked on the door.
Niall opened the door but he wasn't happy.
I gulped and nodded. I looked down at the floor and I was shaking all over.
"I... we need to talk."
"No, we don't need to talk because I understand what you want me to learn. You seduce me and then you throw me out, exactly as I did to all the girls?"
I was startled and I just stared at him.
He laughed cold.
"Congratulations Sally. I learned a lesson. Are you happy now?"
I just wanted to cry.
"No, I'm not happy and I didn't want you to learn a lesson."
He snorted and waved his arms.
"What did you want then?"
I hesitated and I saw at him that he was more than mad at me.
"I didn't want to get hurt."
Niall was startled and he fell silent.
I swallowed and I looked down at my feet.
"I didn't want to get hurt."
"So you threw me out?"
I shook my head.
"I knew you would leave me and that you then would forget about me." I whispered. "I wanted to throw you out before you could hurt me and say goodbye."
Niall didn't understand what I was talking about.
"I didn't want to go away from you?"
"I thought ..." I swallowed and I felt the tears came. "I was afraid you would do as you did to everyone else. Saying goodbye and just leave me."
Niall was silent and he just stared at me. I felt the tears began to flow down my cheeks and I was surprised when he took his arms around me. He hugged me and he pulled me into the apartment. Quickly he closed the door.
"What do you mean?"
I held him and I hid my face against his neck.
"I didn't want that you would have time to do the same as you did to the other girls."
"But ..." He kissed my head. "I didn't want to go and I didn't want to leave you."
I was surprised and I looked up at him.
Niall smiled and he kissed me quickly on the lips. He understood why and he understood me.
"No, I didn't want to go. I wanted to stay."
"But you can't live in a relationship and you can't be faithful. Everybody says that?"
He snorted lightly.
"I know I may not be the one of those people who sits at home, but I'm willing to change that. You manage to transform yourself, then why shouldn't I do that?"
I just stared at him. Niall laughed a little bit and he wiped my cheeks with his hands.
"You're a wacko, Sally." he said hoarsely. "Don't you understand that I love you?"
I swallowed and I shook my head.
He kissed me again and he let the kiss caress my lips.
"I love you." he whispered again and he looked straight into my eyes. "I told you when we were at your place, on the floor. I said I love you."
Niall nodded quickly.
"And I meant it."
I began to understand that he meant business. I smiled a little bit and I saw that he was calm. He was calm and he looked at me.
"I love you back."
"I know, or I didn't know, but I sensed that you had feelings for me."
"I misunderstood you?"
He quickly shook his head.
"No, it's I who am crazy sometimes, but you have to get used to that."
I nodded. I swallowed and I felt my body began landing in reality.
"You were so angry yesterday?"
"The guy that was flirting with you isn't your type. He's such a guy who reminds me of myself. I knew what he was after."
I laughed a little bit.
"I noticed that he wanted just one thing."
Niall nodded and he made sure I was in his arms again.
"You shouldn't choose these guys."
I looked straight into his eyes.
"No, and I'll make sure that you just choose me."
Louis laughed out loud and he just stared at Niall.
"Are you serious?"
I became angry.
"Yesterday, you wanted me?"
Louis looked at me and he frowned.
"No, I just wanted to have sex?"
Niall was almost angry, and he placed himself beside me.
"Can't you believe us, just for one day?"
Perrie smiled uncertainly.
"Yes, but you haven't been faithful since...." she paused. "You know, that girl that hurt you?"
Niall smiled a little bit and he took his arm around my shoulder.
"I've gotten over that part of my life."
She believed him.
"You won't hurt Sally again, then I will be angry and kill you."
I was amused and I smiled at Perrie.
"Maybe it's me who hurt him?"
Anyway it was different. It felt as if my life slowly went into phase two and I realized that I had missed many things in my life.
"You're crazy." Mom said into the phone. I smiled.
"I don't care what you say, Mom." I said quickly. "I have lived miserable in my whole life and this is the first time I'm happy."
She still didn't seemed to understand that I dared.
"He was with all the girls at the same time?"
"He can change,"
She laughed cold.
"I don't think he can."
I snorted back at her and I was sure about my thing.
"Wait and see!"
I hung up the phone in a angry mood. It was as if no one wants to congratulate us, but they thought it wouldn't last.
