The tension between Harry and Voldemort is gaining; Muggles are starting to notice. 'Freak' typhoons, hurricanes, tornadoes, accidents. Bridges collapsing, et cetera. This isn't your typical accident. This is Lord Voldemort's wrath.
I was slightly hurt at Harry's leaving. Leaving me and Hermione here? That not only crushed Hermione, she's been in her cell crying about Harry leaving us like that. The betrayal hurts her, and it hurts me to see her hurt. Also, take it from another view. Myself and Hermione are information gold mines. We know Voldemort's plans, what his followers are doing, ways to attack, and so much more. But instead, here we are, me serving Voldemort and Hermione stuck in a cell.
I have been trying to see Hermione as often as possible, but it just hasn't worked out. It's almost as if we are meant to be separated.
We probably are. Voldemort knows of my feelings for the girl.
Despite the danger, I take today to see Hermione. I had thirty minutes of me time before I had dinner, and instead of reading or lounging around with Goyle as I normally would (it just isn't the same without Crabbe.), I go down to see Hermione.
As one of the few living prisoners, the only really, she is easy to spot. "Draco? Is it you?"
I nod, and blink back tears. She looked awful- tearstains covering her already bruised, cut-up and grimy face, her hair a tangled, greasy mess, her skin deathly pale, her veins prominent. She smiled, though, when she saw me draw near.
"Draco, I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what? Hermione, you have nothing to be sorry for."
"Yes, I do. This is all my fault. I never should have said is come."
"Hermione, you saved my life. And I'm doing everything in my power to save yours. Voldemort wants to kill you now, but I've stalled him."
"What-what was your reason for stalling him?" Sniffles Hermione.
"He wants information out of you. I keep saying that me and Goyle are on he verge of getting information out of you."
"That excuse won't work much longer."
"I know. Then I'll start making up fake information, and telling him I can get more out."
"If it's information he wants, information he'll get."
"I'm sorry, Draco, I truly am, but you see-"
Just then, a sparkling silver Patronus came at us. It was a doe. "It's Harry's Protonus!" Squealed Hermione.
It had a messages. "We are coming. Hold on. Do not reply."
Then it left. "Hermione!" I gasped.
She too looked ecstatic. "Harry is coming! He does care after all!"
Hey guys! Sorry it took so long to publish a new chapter! I hurt my arm, and I was on vacation. I need one more idea for a plot twist, so if you have one, comment it! Oh and comment what you think of this so far. More chapters to come very soon! :)
Love you all,
Grace Nebel (thanks for so many reads!)
