~~"Murtogg, Mullroy, leave the man alone!" I say.
"He's a pirate," Murtogg argues.
"Would you like me to report you to my father?" I ask him.
"No," he mumbles.
"Good, as you were," I say. I take a step around Jack.
"Governors daughter is gettin' I see," Jack says. I roll my eyes.
I glance up at the fort to see Elizabeth and Norrington talking. All of the sudden, Elizabeth topples over the edge and into the water.
"ELIZABETH!!!" I scream.
"Will you be saving her then?" Jack asks the soldiers.
"I can't swim," Murtogg says.
Jack glances at me, who is clutching onto the railing, then says, "Proud of the kings navy you are. Do not lose these!"
He rips his hat, sword, and jacket off and shoves them into the soldiers arms. I climbs onto the railing and dives into the water.
A shock wave goes through the water.
"What was that?" Mullroy asks. Murtogg gives him a look of confusion.
"Oh no," I mutter knowing what comes next. I take off running to the dock with Murtogg and Mullroy on my hells.
I get there just as Jack is climbing up the ladder.
"No breathing!" Murtogg says urgently.
Jack quickly grabs a knife from his belt and cuts the strings on the front of her corset. Elizabeth almost automatically wakes up and starts coughing up water.
"I never would've thought of that," Murtogg says.
"Clearly you've never been to Singapore," Jack says as I help Elizabeth to her feet.
"Where did you get that?" Jack asks looking at the medallion that is on a chain around her neck.
"On your feet," Norrington says as he unsheathed his sword and points it at Jacks neck.
"Elizabeth," Father says as he makes his way through the soldiers. He puts his coat around her shoulders.
"Shoot him!" Father says.
"Father! Commodore, do you really intend to kill my rescuer?" Elizabeth asks.
"I believe thanks are in order," Commordore says as he puts his sword away and holds his hand out for a hand shake. Jack hesitantly takes it. "Had a brush with the East India Trading Company did we? Pirate."
"Hang him," Father says.
"Keep your guns on him men. Gillet, fetch some irons," Commodore says as he pushes his sleeve up more to reveal a tattoo of a sparrow, "Well, well. Jack Sparrow isn't it?"
"Captain Jack Sparrow if you please," Jack corrects him.
"Well I don't see your ship," Commordore says, "Captain."
"I'm in the market," Jack says, "As it were."
"He says he's come to commandeer one," Mullroy says.
"Told you he was telling the truth. These are his sir," Murtogg says. He reaches down and grabs Jacks things.
Commodore examines his things and says, "No additional shots nor powder. A compass that doesn't point north. And I half expected it to be made of wood. You are without doubt the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
"But you have heard of me," Jack says sassily.
Commodore loses his temper and grabs Jacks arm and pulls his down the dock.
"Commodore I really must protest!" I say following him.
"Carefree left lieutenant," Norrington says.
"Pirate or not, this man saved her life," I say stepping in between Norrington and Jack.
"One good deed is not enough to redeem a man of a lifetime of wickedness," Norrington replys.
"But it seems enough to condemn him," Jack says from behind me.
"Indeed," Nortington says.
"Finally," Jack says before he throws the chain of the irons around my neck and pulls me to his chest.
The soldiers pull their guns.
Elizabeth and Father both say, "No! No, don't shoot."
"I'd knew you'd warm up to me," Jack says as he pulls me closer, "Commodore Norrington, my effects please. And my hat. Commodore!"
Commodore unwillingly takes his things.
"Alexandra. It is Alexandra isn't it?" Jack asks me.
"It's Miss Harlow," I say.
"Miss Harlow, if you'd be so kind," he says referring to his things, "Come, come dear. We don't have all day."
Commodore hands me his things. Jack flips me around to face him and he holds his pistol to my temple.
"Now if you'll be so kind," he says.
I sigh and put his hat on him forcefully. Then I loop my arm around his waist to put his belt on him.
"I know your plan," I say to him.
"And what's that?" he asks.
"Once I'm done, you'll shove me into them and run off. Typical!" I say.
When I pull it tight, Jack says, "Easy on the goods darling."
"You're despicable," I say in disgust.
"Sticks and stones love. I saved her life, you save mine. We're square. Too bad I have to kidnap you now!" he says, "Gentleman! Ladies. You will always remember today as the day that you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow."
With that, he yanks me backwards.
"Arms around my neck love," he says as he grabs a rope and kicks a lock. I loop my arms around his neck just in time for the rope to shoot upward.
The cannon on the other end falls and breaks a hole in the wood. Two soldiers fall in.
All of the sudden, when we hit the top, we start spinning in circles.
"Now will you shoot?!" Father asks urgently.
A scream erupts from my mouth as bullets fly passed our heads. A hearty chuckle comes from Jack as I scream.
Jack stops us as we come by a two by four sticking out.
With my arms still around his neck, he uses the chain and zip lines down a rope.
When we get to the ground, he says, "RUN!"
"Why should I go with you?" I ask not budging.
"Because, you know your way around here better than I do!" he says as he grabs my wrist and pulls me along.
We run to the blacksmiths shop.
"What are we doing in here?!" I whisper yell, knowing very well that Will should be back any minute.
"I need to cut this chain!" he says pulling on the irons.
He runs around the shop looking for a way to cut the chain. I sit on a bale of hay and watch him struggle.
He takes one of Will's tools and tries. Doesn't work.
He pokes Bonnie with a red hot branding iron to make her move. He loops the chain in the gears, and it finally cuts the chain.
The door starts to move, indicating that Will is back. Jack runs and hides, whereas I stay where I am.
"What are you doing?!" Jack asks from his hiding spot.
"Sitting," I say defiantly. He jumps from his spot and picks me up and sets me where Will wouldn't see me.
Will walks in and closes the door behind him. He stops Bonnie and takes his jacket off.
"Right where I left you," he says looking at John.
"Not where I left you," he says looking at the tool that Jack left out and his hat that he left sitting on the table.
Will goes to grab the hat, but Jack jumps out at smacks his hand with the flat edge of his sword.
"You're the one they're hunting. The pirate that kidnapped Alexandra," Will says to him as he backs away.
"You seem somewhat familiar. Have I threatened you before?" Jack asks.
"I make a point of avoiding familiarity with pirates," Will says.
"Ah! Well it would be a shame to put a black mark on your record. So if you'll excuse me," Jack says as he turns away.
Will quickly grabs one of the swords that he has made. And takes a step toward Jack.
"Do you think it's wise, boy? Crossing? blades with a pirate?" Jack asks.
"You threatened Alexandra," Will replies. I know exactly where this is going. I stand up and grab one of Will's swords.
"Only a little," Jack says before he attacks.
I quickly jump in front of Will.
"Alexandra?" Will asks.
"The one and only," I say with a dramatic bow.
"Ta," Jack says as he makes his way to the door.
"Duck," Will says. I drop to the ground as Will throws his sword and lands it in the door.
Jack tries pulling it out, but it doesn't work. I smirk as I stand up and move to the left.
"That is a wonderful trick. Except once again you are between me and my way out. And now, you have no weapon," Jack says as he unsheaths his sword.
Will quickly grabs a red hot sword from the fire. Bonnie starts moving again.
I get in between them once again and ask, "What is with everyone and fighting today?"
