I turn around and dive off. Thank goodness for deep water because I went down a lot farther than planned!
When I swim back up, the Pearl is a lot closer. I grab the line they threw to me, and they pull me aboard. I drop right on deck.
"Decided to come with me after all did we love?" a sopping wet Jack Sparrow asks from the helm.
"I guess so. Although, I got to finish my sentence. Unlike certain someone I know who has a bad habit of falling," I say as I walk up the stairs.
"I thought you were to keep to the code," Jack says to Gibbs.
"We figured they were more actual guidlines," Gibbs replies.
Cotton hands Jack his hat and he thanks him.
"Captain Sparrow," Annamaria says before she puts his coat over his shoulders, "The Black Pearl is yours."
"On deck, you scabrous dogs! Man the braces! Let down and haul to run free. Now... bring me that horizon," Jack says before looking at his compass.
I smirk. I'm not getting out of here just yet.
"Get up here!" Jack says to me. I smile and walk the rest of the stairs. He loops his arm around my waist and starts humming.
Then he starts singing, "And really bad eggs. Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho."
"What am I going to do with you?" I ask.
"I think I have an idea," he says with a smirk.
"You know, I could drop you overboard just like that, then it wouldn't be Barbossa sailing away with your ship, it'd be me," I say as I grab his compass.
I open it, and just as I expected, it pointed straight to Jack.
"You still never told me what it is you want most," Jack says.
"Yeah? And what is it that you want most?" I ask him. He opens the compass and looks around.
"Ah! Rum," he says as he finds a bottle.
"And now?" I ask. He looks back at his compass.
"Look for youself," he says.
Peak over the top of the compass only to see the needle pointing at me.
"Really?" I question.
"I've got the Pearl. Now I've got rum," he says, "Now I just want one more thing and I'll live a long enjoyable life!"
I smile but don't say a word. I just take a few steps forward and press my lips to his.
"Now you have all that you want," I whisper.
"I do, don't I?" he says.
"So, what's our heading Captain?" I ask.
"Not sure. But I'm alright with anything as long as you're here," he replies. I smile.
I now know that you need to watch what you say, or else you will get transported into your favorite movie.
Not that I mind all that much.
No matter when or where, anyone can find love. Even those with the blackest of souls.
Everyone deserves someone and I think I just found mine.
