24. Kidnapped/Hostage

Midnight memories

You Get Kidnapped/ Held Hostage. (Requested)

Harry: You're on a road trip with Harry, and you pull over at a rest stop because you are running pretty low on gas. Harry needs to use the bathroom, so he practically books it inside, "Be right back, babe!" He calls over his shoulder before disappearing inside. Feeling the need to stretch your legs, you exit the car and walk around a bit. You decide that you want a drink so you make your way around to the back of the car, to the trunk. You lift it open and lean in, trying to reach the cooler. Suddenly you feel a massive shove from behind you, your body flailing into the trunk. You see nothing but darkness as the trunk is slammed shut and you're left completely confused as to what is going on. You hear the car start and begin to drive away, as you feel around in the dark for some sort of life line. Remembering that your cell phone was in your pocket, you pull it out and dial Harry's number. It rings three times before he picks it up, "(y/n)? Where'd you go?" he asks, wondering why in the world you would leave him at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. "Harry, I'm in the trunk," you whisper frantically, "some psycho shoved me in, I don't know where we're going, please call someone," you're on the verge of tears, you're so scared. Harry is silent for a few seconds, processing what he just heard, "Just hold on, okay?" and with that, the phone clicks out and you're left in the silent trunk, waiting for Harry to save you. After about an hour, you hear sirens approaching the still moving vehicle, and you breath a sigh of relief. The man pulls over and you hear his screams in protests as he is ripped out of the driver's seat. Sunlight streams in through the trunk as it opens and you see Harry's frantic face. You jump out into his arms as he kisses your face, your cheeks, your nose, everywhere. "I thought I lost you," he whispers against your neck. Screw the road trip, you drive back home.

Niall: You're about to leave your flat to go and meet your boyfriend, Niall. It was dusk, and you don't really want to walk, due to the weird feeling that you've been having lately that you're being watching, but you don't have a choice. Besides, he only lives around the corner. You pull yourself together and exit your flat complex, breathing in the crisp, autumn air. After walking for a little while, you hear footsteps behind you, but you don't pay much attention to it. Suddenly, you feel something being pressed into your back, a barrel of a gun, and a large hand gripping onto your arm roughly, "Make a noise, and I'll shoot," they say. You bite your lip, thinking that this can't be happening to you. You are led to a black van and shoved in, driving away to God knows where. You are taken to what sounds like an abandoned warehouse, bounded and hooded so that you can't move or see a thing. You're placed in a chair and the hood is removed. You're surprised to see a woman standing before you, a crazy look in her eyes, "Hello, (y/n)" she says, tilting her head to the side. You frantically look around, "W-where am I? Why am I here? Who are you?" you ask, frightened. She laughs and inches closer to you, you can practically feel her breath on your face, "You're here because you took him from me," she spits, slapping you across the face, "You took my Niall from me!" She circles around you, and whispers in your ear, causing the hair to rise on the back of your neck, "And I'm going to make you pay," You're here for a week, you think. You couldn't exactly keep track of time. She beats you daily, she even cut your hair in an attempt to make you look hideous to Niall. She's absolutely psycho, but you take it, knowing that he'll find you, you never lose that hope. One day, you hear pounding on the door, right as she was about to pierce your skin with some sort of glass bottle. You look up, barely seeing through your black eyes and tear-filled rims. You see Niall crash through the warehouse door, his face crumpling in pain at the sight of you. Cops trail in behind him, restraining the girl immediately. She's led away as Niall untied you, "(y/n) I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry I didn't get here sooner!" he cries picking you up and carrying you out of that hellhole.

Liam: Liam and you are on a coffee run around nine o'clock at night; he was craving a Mocha Latte. It's chilly outside, and you lean into him to warm up a bit, "I'm cold, Liam," you groan, as he rubs his hand up and down your arm trying to warm you. "I know, babe, we're almost there," he chuckles as you two approach the small coffee shop that you love. He opens the door for you, but you simply shake your head, "Nah, I'll wait out here," you say. He stares at you, a bit disappointed that you don't want to walk in with him. "But it's cold out here," he protests, trying to convince you to not stand out on the street corner by yourself. You just wave him off, smiling, "I'll be fine, go on. Just hurry," you tell him, crossing your arms over your chest, pulling your jacket closer to you. Liam disappears inside, and you see him ordering his latte out of the corner of your eye, watching you to make sure you're safe. In the blink of an eye, your head suddenly hits the concrete. You blink, disoriented, trying to figure out what the hell is going on. You hear Liam's faint cries, "(y/n)! PUT HER DOWN! (Y/N)!" but it sounds so far away. Damn, you hit your head hard. You're being carried over someone's shoulder, and they're running quickly. Your head hurts too much to open your eyes. You're thrown up against a wall in an alleyway and you slowly look up at the masked man in front of you. That was definitely not Liam, "LIAM!" you scream, looking around you frantically, hoping to see him somewhere, anywhere. The man strikes you and you feel the tears well up in your eyes. "I'll give you something to cry about," he threatens, his voice rough. He begins to kick you in the stomach. Why? You have no idea. "(Y/N)!" You hear Liam shout from around the corner. The man's head jerks up and you topple over in pain, hardly able to breathe. Liam appears in the front of the alleyway, his hair windblown and his face full of fury when he saw the man over you and concern when he saw your broken frame, "Get away from her!" He yells, booking it towards the man, knocking him out with just one punch. You'd never seen Liam get physical, and it was quite frightening. The man laid in the alleyway, out cold, and Liam makes his way over to you, "(y/n), are you okay? Oh God, I'm so sorry. I don't even know how this happened. Look at your cheek! Oh, babe, this is all my fault, we should have just stayed home," he blames himself, examining your bruising cheeks. You sit up, ignoring the sharp pains in your stomach and reassure him that it wasn't his fault. But him being Liam, continues to apologize until the cops arrive.

Zayn: You and Zayn have to run to the bank before you two go on your date later. You're standing in the longest line you've ever seen, trying to entertain each other by picking out oddities on other people. Rude, yes, but funny nonetheless. Suddenly a gunshot rings out throughout the large bank, echoing and making it seem a million times louder than it really is. Everyone ducks, wondering where in the world it came from. Zayn pulls you into his chest, protecting your head and covering your ears, "Zayn, what the hell was that?" You ask him, gripping onto his leather jacket that matched yours. He pats your back comfortingly. "Probably nothing, babe," he answers, worry flooding his voice. A group of men walk into the bank, the one in the lead holding a gun over his head. "EVERYBODY DOWN!" he yells, and everybody drops to the ground as fast as they possibly could. Right as you and Zayn were about to, the man looks at you, "Not you, love," he says, a smile playing on his lips through the ski mask. You freeze as he begins to walk toward you two. You can feel Zayn's grip tighten around your waist as you stare at the man, wide-eyed, much like a deer in headlights, "Let me see the girl," he tells Zayn, pointing at you with the black gun in his hand. You flinch, scared out of your mind. Zayn steps in front of you protectivly, "Not on your life, mate," he answers, brave and unafraid. The man's gun rings out again as he shoots it in the air, causing Zayn to cringe. It was only for a second, but it was enough time for the man to reach forward and grab you, gripping onto you roughly, pulling your hands behind your back. The gun is pressed to your temple as Zayn stares at you, completely helpless. "Please, just let her go," he whispers, feebly, watching as tears start pouring out of your eyes. The man looked at you, lovingly. It made your stomach churn the way he was looking at you, "But she's so pretty," he relishes, running his hand down your damp cheek. You see Zayn's jaw clench and his fists ball up when the man touches you. "Get your hands off of her," he growls, stepping forward. It's as if he has no fear. The man laughs at him, "Now is this heroic acts really wise, son?" he asks, aiming the gun toward Zayn who didn't so much as blink. Sirens begin to wail outside the bank and the man drops you, not caring that you crumple to the floor. He motions for his crew to get out of there before it's too late. Zayn rushes to your side, pulling you into his arms, "Babe, are you alright?" he asks, kissing your forehead. You nod your head, shaken up and almost to the point of hysterics. You look up at him, the realization of what he had just done for you hitting you, "Zayn, he would have shot you," you say, covering your mouth with your hands at the thought of watching that before your eyes. He presses his lips into a thin line, "As long as he didn't hurt you, I would have gladly taken that bullet," he replies, holding you closer and comforting you.

Louis: It's your six month anniversary and instead of going out to dinner, the two of you decide to stay home in Louis' flat and cuddle on the couch with your favorite movies. You and Louis slip on your matching Coca-Cola pajamas and nestle into each other's arms, happy and content. You choose The Hangover to watch first because it's the only movie that you can watch over and over without it ever getting old. Right as the boys find the baby in the closet, there's a knock on the front door of Louis' flat. He groans, "Eh, It's not important," he says, waving it off and turning his attention back to the movie. A few seconds later, there is a more abrupt knock, which eventually turns into hardcore pounding on the wood. You and Louis exchange a confused look before he starts to get up to answer it. You stop him and say, "I'll get it babe," with a smile. He lightly taps your bum as you walk past him, the cheeky boy. You swing open the door, preparing to yell at your rude guest. But it was then you lay eyes on a rather frightening looking sight: a man with a potato sack over his head, holes for eyes cut out. You scream and cover your mouth with your hands at the sight, causing Louis to whip his head around at you, wondering why you had shrieked. He stares at the man, no ounce of fear in his expression at all. He rolls his eyes and turns back to the movie, "Hi Harry," he says simply. The man cocked his head to the side, confused, before he looks to you, grabbing you roughly, "Harry, cut it out," Louis calls from the couch. Your eyes dart from the masked man to Louis, flabbergasted at the situation. The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pocket knife, raising it to your throat, but Louis didn't even flinch. Meanwhile, you're standing there, fearing for your life. "LOUIS I DON'T THINK IT'S HARRY!" you scream, desperate for some sort of help from your boyfriend. He stands up and his eyes widen when he sees the knife being held up to your throat. He flips over the couch and sprints to your side, stopping when the man extends the knife toward him. He holds up his hands in surrender and looks around desperately for something that he can use, which he ends up deciding on a frying pan. You shoot him a disapproving glance, feeling like you're trapped in Scary Movie 6. Realizing that Louis was going to get you absolutely nowhere, you reached behind you and punched the masked man in the balls, watching in satisfaction as he crumbled to the ground, clutching his balls. Lucky for you, he only slightly scraped you when he fell. Louis rushed up beside you and whacked him on the head with the frying pan, smiling as the man's eyes shut and his body went limp. You smack your forehead at your idiotic boyfriends actions, "Louis, ju-just call the police, okay?" you say, pointing your finger towards your cellphone, still not believing the events that had just taken place.
