1. chapter one

Hey guys! Here's the first chapter! Hope you guys like it, and yeah.

I feel like something was my fault, but I can't remember what I did or who was involved or even what my name is. The walls of my cell are dark and cold, and the bars on the door make me think I'm in a prison. My cell is small, one bed lays on the left side and a toilet on the other wall. Everyday possibly around the same time, someone brings food to my cell. I do not know what this person looks like nor what his or her name is, so I'll call them the deliverer.

Everyday the deliverer brings me my food, always the same. Stale bread, what I can assume is a week old sandwich, and a dirt filled glass of water. I can't say it's the most luxurious meal I've had, but it keep my stomach full. Slowly and gently I stood up for the first time since I've been here. I looked around only darkness was to be seen outside the cell door. My cell had one light over by my bed, but I haven't used it, in fact I haven't used anything in the cell since I've been here. I did not walk easily to my bed, I walked with a limp because it was like my legs haven't worked in one hundred years. I sat down on my bed before I completely spread my limbs out across the mattress. I've got to say, sleeping on this bed is a lot more comfortable than sleeping on the floor. Finally the time came and my dinner was pushed through a slot in the cell door, but today's lunch was a little different. Instead of stale bread it was fresh, and it had a glass of soda and not water, and don't even get me started on the gigantic sandwich freshly made onto the tray. Along side my tray was a set of clothes, they seemed familiar like I had seen them before or like I had worn them before.

I picked up the clothing and changed out of my ripped prison uniform.

"Eat up, You're getting out of here." A voice had whispered.

"You are not the deliverer are you?" I had asked.

"No, I am not who you think I am. We have no time for introductions, we must go. Hurry and eat, we must leave before they find out I'm here." The voice whispered as I slowly but quickly started eating my food. It tasted like heaven, why haven't I had food this good in a while? Once I was finished with my food I set my tray on the bed as my cell door creaked open.

In stepped a man. I know he was important to me but I can't remember who he is.

"Hello." The man said.

"Hello." I replied in a whisper.

"Well, it's nice to see you again." The mysterious man said.

"Sir? If you don't mind me asking, um.. Who are you?" I asked.

"You don't know me?" He questioned.

"No, I don't even know my own name." I answered.

The man took my hand in his and looked me in the eyes.

"You, Are Sage. Sage Bradley, you are a memory hunter. You hunt down the memory thieves, but you had trouble trying to catch them, for example you don't know a thing. That's the work of a memory thief." The man said.

"If I had my memory stolen, how did I end up in a prison?" I asked him.

"That's a story for another time, but for now, we need to get you out of here." The man said as he pulled me through the doorway and down what looked like some sort of hallway. I still could not see, and the hallway was dark so I'm afraid I might run into something.

"Sir, where are we going?" I asked.

"Home Sage, we're going home." The man replied.

"Sir, if you don't mind me asking." I started.

"Go on." He says.

"Where exactly is this home, and how are we getting my memory back?" I continued.

"We'll talk more later, watch your eyes. The suns going to burn." The man said as he opened a door and sunshine blasted into my eyes, shooting pain into my eyes. I could not see, I felt like a kitten who had just opened it's eyes but I'm still blind. The only thing my eyes saw were a bright white light, but I heard the mans voice very clearly.

"Sir, sir I cannot see." I said as the man slowly led me down what felt like a small staircase.

"Do not worry Sage, you will be alright." The man replied.

"Sir please, I cannot see, what am I going to do when I become said memory hunter." I asked.

"You cannot become a memory hunter, you are a memory hunter. The best memory hunter, now hurry and get ready to run before they start to realize you're gone." The man said as our walking started to pick up the pace, and me being basically blind right now, I had a little bit of trouble. When we finally stopped running my eyesight had returned to me and I could finally see this mysterious man clearly. He was just a little bit taller than me, with blonde hair, and a lip piercing. As I looked around at my surroundings my mouth dropped open. There were beautiful flowers everywhere,

"Are we done running?" I asked, and he nodded. "Okay, if you don't mind. Will you tell me who you are?"

The man turned to me and looked into my eyes, his eyes stared at mine, so big and blue, I looked at his body structure and yes he wasn't the most muscular person but he was amazing. Finally after twenty minutes of him staring at me he finally told me his name.

"Asher Bradley." He says.

"Oh, are you like my brother or something?" I had asked.

"Or something." Asher mumbled. He looked as if the word brother hurt his feelings, Is he my brother? Is he related to me?

"Are you in anyway related to me?" I asked and Asher just nodded. "Are you my brother? Cousin? Anyone?"

"You'll find out sooner or later." Asher says.

He seems quite sad, I think I know why but I just can't put my finger on it. I want to hug him, but I don't know if I should. What if he doesn't like hugs? What if he's my brother who hates me!

"Asher, are you okay?" I asked hesitating to touch his arm.

"Huh? Oh, yeah." Asher cleared his throat. "I'm fine." He smiled.

"Are you sure? If it's something I said, I'm extremely sorry!" I explained.

"No, Sage you didn't do anything. I'm just thinking about someone." Asher says as he grabbed my arm and we continued walking. We came up to a tall building, it was blue with a ton of windows. I can't remember the name of it, but I know this place is important.

Inside was a bedroom, it was large, one side of the room was literally a whole couch. The bed was placed in the middle of the room and it looked like it would be as comfortable as a cloud.

I walked to the bed and flipped down onto it and Asher followed. He say down next to me and grabbed my hand but I pulled away and sat up.

"Asher." I started

"Yes?" Asher asked.

"Are you my brother?" I asked.

"No, I'm not your brother, cousin, or even your father. I'm someone very important to you." Asher said as he grabbed my hand.

"Uh, are you my boyfriend?" I asked.

"No." Asher said.

"Then who are you?" I asked as Asher held up his left hand revealing a ring on his ring finger and he slipped his right hand into his right pocket and pulled out a diamond ring and put it on my left hands ring finger.

"I'm your husband." He smiled.
