Five Days…

After Bobbie, Naya, and Caine played her game, Bloody Mary writes on the mirror of Bobbie, saying five days. At first, they didn't know what it meant. Now they are racing for their lives. What happens during the fives days? Well, you're gonna have to read to find out. (Short Story)

1. Day Zero

Caine, Sadie, Naya, Grace, and Bobbie set off to find the perfect bathroom to start the game. Bobbie was tired and nervous, a terrible combination, really. Naya looked excited to finally be able to set Sadie in her place. Caine look naturally unafraid of anything that comes his way. Bobbie sees a smirk on his face, showing that ever lovely right dimple. She couldn't help but stare at him. Grace sees this and throws her a perfectly manicured finger.

Bobbie inched her way closer to her friend and asked, "Naya, do we really want to do this?" Naya turns her head to face the sleepy girl and nods once, firmly. And everyone knows that once Naya gets an idea into her head, it can't be pulled out until she pulls through.

"By the way," Naya whispers. "I see you looking at the hunk walking next to me. Talk to him."

"What?" Bobbie says, more alert. "I-I can't! I never even talked to a guy. How will I-" Bobbie doesn't get to finish her response. Naya pushed her into her own spot to take place beside Caine.

Naya shoots a look to Bobbie as if saying, 'what are you waiting for?' Bobbie groans quietly and reluctantly nods.

Before she can say anything Caine beats Bobbie to the punch by saying, "You're name's Bonnie, right?"

"Uhh, it's Bobbie actually. Short for Roberta." Why did I just tell him my full name? Stupid, stupid, stu-

"That's a nice name." Caine says, interrupting Bobbie's little tirade against herself. She finds herself blushing furiously. Good thing it's a dark hallway.

"Thank you." She says quietly. She feels eyes on her and looks past Caine to see Grace's eyes boring into her face. Bobbie couldn't help but smirk a bit.

Suddenly, Sadie stops. The rest of them follow suit. Finally, Naya asks, "Why'd we stop?"

"We're here, genius." Sadie rolls her eyes. Though Bobbie was overcome with tiredness, she was also alert because they were actually going through with it.

"Great. Now tell us the rules and leave so we can do this." Naya smirks, moving her head with the sassiness she never failed to show.

Grace grumbles something that sounds like, '…trying to hook up with my boyfriend.' Bobbie looks over to Caine and she can practically hear his eyes rolling. He looks at her and winks. She blushed again and looks down, trying to hide it.

"You need a candle, first of all." Sadie says. She then walks forward a bit to where there was a table and opens the drawer. Inside there were some candles and a matchbox. She takes the matchbox and a candle and takes it back to the group after she lights it. Making sure the flame won't go out, she starts explaining the rules.

"Okay, so the rules say no electricity is to be on in the room at the time the game is being played. So, if you turn on the light, you're pretty much saying you're done playing. Only use the candle for light. Once you're inside the room with the candle as the only light source, you're supposed to say her name five times in the mirror. Any questions so far?" She looked at the four-party group.

Bobbie spoke up and asked, "I thought you were supposed to say her name only three times?"

"Well, that's not how it goes." Sadie snootily says. "After you say her name five times, she's supposed to be somewhere in the mirror." She finishes up. "Anymore reasonable questions?" Everyone shakes their head.

"Thanks for the instructions. Now leave." Naya says. Bobbie and Caine chuckle slightly. Sadie scoffs, takes Grace by her forearm, and stomps away, Grace in tow. Caine snorted when she was gone. Bobbie was in awe about how his snorting sounded like music to her ears.

"Okay. Ready, guys?" Naya asks. Bobbie and Caine nod simultaneously and follow her into the bathroom.

"Naya, I'm not so sure I want tot do this, anymore." Bobbie says, shaking slightly. Naya clicks her tongue at her and shakes her head.

"Don't worry, Bobbie. You're safe with me and Naya. We promise nothing will happen to you." Caine assures Bobbie. She instantly feels better.

"Okay, lovebirds," Naya says. "let's start."

All of them take a deep breath before saying her name five times, "Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary."

They all whispered the it the fifth time, for fear something was gonna happen. They all opened their eyes and stared into the mirror. Bobbie was most reluctant to do so.

"Well, that was a bust. Nothing happened. I proved Sadie wrong. Let's go guys." Naya says, walking out the door, not bothering to wait for Bobbie and Caine.

"You alright?" Caine asked. Bobbie looked up at him.

"Yeah. I'm fine." she responds. They both walked out the school.

Bobbie turned the tap of the bath off and reached for a towel. As she was stepping out, she heard a knock on the door.

"Yes?" She called out.

"Bobbie, you almost done?" She hears Naya's voice. Bobbie opens the door enough for her to stick her head through.

"Who's asking?"

"Caine. Yeah, he really needs to pee. His words, not mine." Bobbie turns her head slightly, hearing quiet squeaking. She shakes her head and turns back to face Naya.

"Ok. Tell him I'm just about done and not to stain my floors." Bobbie says, smirking. Naya laughs and nods, leaving Bobbie to dress. Bobbie sighs and closes the door. She continues to dry and dress. When she faced the mirror, though, her heart almost stopped. It read:
