5. Chapter 5

I watched as the old door creak closed. I could no longer see anything. It was all dark. I never did like the dark, when I was younger I would always have to have a night light lit in my room in order for me to fall asleep comfortably. There was something about the dark that made me feel uncomfortable, and still does.

I looked up above me to see if I could see some sort of window or something I could catch a glimpse of light from. I seen a small square opening in the wall that was facing me. The old rusty metal bars were just barely letting any light shine through so I could hardly see out of it, but what I could see wasn't much. Darkness. More and more darkness.

Tears started streaming down my face as I thought of my family. I missed them all so much. They could be a real pain sometimes but I loved them more than anything, and it's situations like this that you would have never thought you would find yourself in when you really realize how lucky you are to have such amazing people in your life. What were they thinking right now? Are they worried that I haven't come he from work? Maybe they haven't even realized my absence yet.

What about the lady on the 9-1-1 operating line? What was she thinking? Did she try and track me down even when my phone died? They might never find me. I may never see my family ever again. I may never see the light of day again for that matter. I had no clue what he was going to do with me. I might not even be alive tomorrow. Or tomorrow I might be taking my last breath, living my last day. The thought of looking into his dark green eyes while tied up in this old hard chair as he plans out ways to torture or kill me in his sick mind makes shivers run down my spine.

After being in here for about an hour with absolutely nothing to do or even look at my eye lids began to feel heavy. Drowsiness took over my body as I began to fall asleep.

I felt a cold gust of new- cold air sweep past my ankles. Goosebumps appeared on the exposed skin of my arms and legs. My head shot up as the door creaked open and he creeped in through the door way and turned on the light. I looked around the room and realized I was in a basement. There were old toys and tools all over the floor, cobwebs, dust and cracks covered the walls. I looked up at him as he began loosening the ropes that held me to the old chair. I gave him a confused look.

"Did you think I was going to make you sleep in this chair?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. I didn't answer.

"You'll be sleeping with me. At least then I know you can't get away. I can't keep an eye on you from upstairs while I'm sleeping, but I can if you're in the same room and bed as me." He smirked and untied the last of the ropes around my ankles.

I rubbed my wrists as he grabbed my elbow and dragged me out of the basement.

He took me down a long hallway until we reached a door with a piece of paper that had "Styles" written on it with blue pen. He turned the nob and the door swung open revealing a king bed and 3 wooden dressers standing in each corner of the room.

He closed the door and locked it with a key. I had never seen anyone use that type of lock in a bedroom before, he was really going to make sure I wasn't going to escape. He led me over to his bed.

"Since you don't have any clothes you can wear these. And be thankful, I normally don't let girls wear my clothing." He handed me a pair of boxers and a baggy t-shirt. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"What? Is there something wrong with them?" He questioned, pointing to the pieces of clothing placed in my hands. I sighed and shook my head.

"Can you show me where the bathroom is?" I looked around the room gripping his clothing in my small hands.

"Why don't you just get dressed right here?" He smirked.

"No, I'd rather get changed in a bathroom please."

"I won't peek!" He put his large hands up to his eyes, covering them.

I groaned in frustration. Soon realizing I wasn't going to win, I quickly slipped off my tank top and jeans replacing them with his boxers and t-shirt.

"Okay I'm done." I mumbled. He removed his hands from his face and placed them on my lower back lightly pushing me towards the bed.

"Lie down." He demanded, unfolding the bed sheets. I did as told, I wouldn't dream of disobeying him. I had no idea what he was capable of doing with me and I didn't anticipate on finding out anytime soon.

He removed his shirt, revealing his toned upper body. I looked away, I didn't want to watch him undress himself. Though, he didn't seem to care if I did. He climbed into the bed and switched off the lamp on the night stand that laid beside it.

I closed my eyes and tried to pretend I was home, hoping it would help me get to sleep faster. He shifted around and placed his big hands on my waist as he pulled my in as close to his chest as he possibly could.

"Goodnight sweetheart." He whispered, his warm breath leaving shivers down my neck, making the small hairs stand up. I swallowed and took a deep breath. I guess I'm going to have to get used to being this close to him if this how I'm going to be sleeping for the next little while. Until he decides what's he's going to do with me.
