8. The Match of the Century.

Samantha's POV:

I paced the living room nervously. Today was the day. In a few hours Harry was going to face Liam. Yeah I did some research to find out his name. Harry has been training nonstop the last few days. I haven't gone to the gym because I didn't want to bother him. Ashton says that me not going is actually hurting him more. A knock at the door caused me to jump out of my skin. I turned around to see Luke staring at me with a weird expression before he opened the door. It was Wesley.

"You!" He yelled causing a nervous pit to grow in my stomach.

"I didn't do it!" I yelled. I guess even being away from my parents for almost two years I still have that nervous reaction to say I didn't do it.

"Come!" He reached out for my hand then pulled me along. Luke followed us throwing a shirt on as we walked. As we got closer to the gym the nervousness grew rapidly. When we got inside I saw all of the boxers training. It was rare to see them all here at the same time, let alone training at the same time. That's when I noticed that Wesley's hair was slicked back with water, meaning he was also training before he came to get me. My eyes travelled around the gym until I saw Drew and Harry in the ring training. I haven't seen them in the ring together in forever.

"Why's everyone training?" I asked.

"Do you really think we're gonna let some snob rich boy take our good luck charm?" Wesley smiled at me. They were training for me. The thought that none of them wanted to lose me made me really happy. So happy that tears started to stream down my cheeks.

"Sam?" Luke questioned whipping away my tears.

"I am so lucky to have you guys in my life." I smiled softly before hugging him. After I pulled away I ran over to the ring and slid in. Drew and Harry both stopped what they were doing when they noticed me. I wrapped my arms around Drew first then I hugged Harry. I didn't want to let go.

"It's dangerous coming into the ring with two skilled boxers." Drew chuckled.

"You guys wouldn't hurt me." I smiled letting go of Harry.

"Is that a test?" Harry teased.

"What's the worse you'd do?" I giggled. I regretted those words as soon as they left my mouth because they both started tickling me like crazy. "Okay you win!" I laughed.

It was finally time for the match. I stood outside of the gym pacing back and forth nervously waiting for Ashton to show up. He's taking his sweet time like usual. I hate that he takes forever, he's worse than a teenage girl!

"Nervous?" I turned my head to see Zayn smoking a cigarette.

"Maybe.." I muttered.

"Don't be." He said taking one last puff of the cigarette. "If you're nervous then it'll rub off on Harry. We don't want him to be nervous now do we?" He asked as he put his hand on top of my head and messing up my hair. I shook my head and he softly smiled at me before heading inside.

"Sam!" I turned my head to see Selena and Ashton running towards me.

"Lena?" I gasped. "What are you doing here?"

"Ashton told me what happened and said you might need some girl support."

"Thanks Ash." I smiled and kissed his cheek before we all headed inside. I showed them to our seats before running to the locker rooms. Luke was talking to Harry trying to motivate him. Did I mention Luke sucks at motivating people? "Move aside Luke." I teased pushing him out of the door then locking it. I heard him groan on the other side which caused me to giggle. I sat down in front of Harry then started wrapping his hands.

"How big?" He asked referring to the crowd.

"Big." I said.

"That's good. More eyes to see me beat the shit out of that snobby rich boy." He joked. I shook my head smiling as I finished wrapping his hands. We stood up as he examined his hands. "You're getting better at this." He smiled at me.

"Maybe one day I can be the one in your corner instead of Luke.." I mumbled looking at my feet.

"Trying to steal Luke's job?" He chuckled.

"I could be better." I teased.

"I believe it." He smiled.

"I wanted to give you some good luck..." I muttered.

"Oh?" He smiled opening up his arms expecting a hug. I got closer to him and stared into his emerald green eyes before cuffing my hands on his cheeks. I pulled his face down to mine and locked my lips with his. Obviously he was shocked at this action of mine but he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around my waist and kissing me back. When we pulled away I stared at the ground blushing. I was surprised I had enough courage to do that.

"Good luck." I looked back up at him smiling.

"Thanks Sam." He smirked before heading out of the locker room. I headed back out to Selena and Ashton who were having this big debate over who I'd lose my virginity to. I decided not to say a word and just let them have their fun while the match started.

It was clear that Liam was arrogant in his abilities. Everyone was cheering Harry on which angered Liam, which also made his punches slower. Soon there was blood flying which made Selena sick to her stomach so I had Ashton take her home.

That's when it happened.

One punch and he was down.

The crowd roared with victory.
