Do you ever just see a beautiful stranger? Not just a stranger that looks nice, but a really beautiful stranger who just captures you with the way they look and the way they act and makes you think about them at 2 am. A beautiful stranger that leaves you wonder struck and makes you somehow want to see them again and be with them forever yet at the same time, make you want to stay away from them so they remain this mysterious beautiful person that's in the world that would never hurt you.
I should have gone with the latter.

Rosy's point of view

I sit there after school, on the cold ground, in the rain. Everybody has gone home. Even the teachers are leaving now. Every teacher who walks past asks me if I'm okay and I tell them that yes I am even though I feel like crying. He should be here by now. I try to calm down. I don't even bring my phone to school anymore because I have so much trust in Ethan that I feel like if anything went wrong, he'd be there. That's just a subconscious thing that I do, but now I know better. He can't save me from everything, especially when the problem is him. Still, I try to calm down. It's not like he did this on purpose. He probably just had an issue with the car, he's on his way, he'll always be on his way. He'd call but I don't have my phone.

Half an hour later, the car rolls into the car park and I mean that literally. Ethan is behind it, pushing it. He is soaking wet and he isn't wearing a jacket, but he smiles at me as he pushes it to a halt in front of me. I laugh, getting up.

"Sorry." he smiles, hopefully.

I smile, wrapping my arms around him. "Don't be. Why didn't you just get Adam or something to pick us up?"

"Because the free car manufacturers fixed the car for free and then on my way to pick you up, it broke again so now, you and I are going to push it to the expensive one so that I actually have a working car to pick you up in." he nods, determined.

"Or I could take a bus." I suggest.

"Oh no. You're not taking a bus. Rosy, this is about my manly pride. I will get this car fixed and I will pick you up from school like a real boyfriend."

I laugh and he winks, smiling. "Come on, let's go."

I frown. "Why don't you get somebody to tow it?"

He stops pushing and looks at me for a moment before groaning. "Oh bloody hell, why didn't I think of that?"

"Because you're a bit of a douche."

He pretends to be angry with me but then nudges me into the car out of the rain.
