Do you ever just see a beautiful stranger? Not just a stranger that looks nice, but a really beautiful stranger who just captures you with the way they look and the way they act and makes you think about them at 2 am. A beautiful stranger that leaves you wonder struck and makes you somehow want to see them again and be with them forever yet at the same time, make you want to stay away from them so they remain this mysterious beautiful person that's in the world that would never hurt you.
I should have gone with the latter.

Rosy's point of view

We get home and he goes straight to the kitchen and starts pressing the hot water button. Both of us still have smiles on our faces.

"What are you doing?" I laugh, taking my shoes off.

"No offence love, but you need a bath." he winks.

"You go first." I smile, kissing his mud covered cheek. "I'll be alright."

"Your bath will be freezing."

"I just laid in a muddy puddle, I'm pretty sure I'll be okay."

He smiles that heart melting indulgent smile, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"We could go in together." he suggests.

"Do you have a swimsuit?" I raise my eyebrows and he chuckles, shaking his head.

However much we were just joking around, the only way we're not going to catch pneumonia is by having a bath at the same time but we do both wear swimsuits because I am not ready for anything like that any time soon- not that he minds. It's not even like it's sexual in the slightest, we're both just cramped up in the barely lukewarm bath, trying to warm up and get the mud out. We're still so happy though and I hope it never ends.

He tuts, taking my hand and looking at my arm. "Rosy, your whole arm is grazed and your leg's bleeding."

I laugh at him. "You did throw me across the ground."

He laughs at the memory a little, despite his feeling guilty. "I'm sorry. But once I knew you were okay, it was hilarious, right?"

"I've never seen your comedy finer." I say, kissing him quickly and climbing out of the bath.

That night as we're falling asleep, I feel so content. I know I probably won't feel this way in the morning, but the morning isn't happening yet. Right now is right now and we're both happy.

"E?" I mumble, almost asleep.

"Let's never take the country road again."

He chuckles. "I agree. Night, Rosy."

"I love you." he murmurs.

"I love you."
