Do you ever just see a beautiful stranger? Not just a stranger that looks nice, but a really beautiful stranger who just captures you with the way they look and the way they act and makes you think about them at 2 am. A beautiful stranger that leaves you wonder struck and makes you somehow want to see them again and be with them forever yet at the same time, make you want to stay away from them so they remain this mysterious beautiful person that's in the world that would never hurt you.
I should have gone with the latter.

Ethan's point of view

We're parked outside of her school and she isn't leaving until she hears the bell go. I'm scared about the fact that we're not going to sneak around. I'm partly scared because if her dad finds out we won't be able to see each other. That would be every kind of frustrating. But I'm also partly scared that I don't know how we're not going to sneak around and that means we're going to end up sneaking around and that puts too much pressure on things and we'll end which means I wouldn't get to see her and that would be every kind of frustrating.

"Do you need a ride home?" I ask, playing with a piece of her hair. The wave straightens out and slowly curls back up again.

She shakes her head. "I've go to go dress shopping with Nicole."

I laugh a little. "You? Dress shopping?"

She nods, smiling sourly. "The school is having a dance next week and the teachers say we have to go. They're obligatory now because nobody used to show up to them."

I laugh. "Wow. And you're wearing what exactly?"

She raises an eyebrow. "Concerned, are we?"

"I was a guy in high school not so long ago. I am very concerned of any guys that are like I used to be. So what will you be wearing, Rosy Posy?"

"Well I don't know yet as I haven't bought it, have I Ethan?" she says in a patronising tone and then laughs as the bell goes. She kisses me. To me, there will be no such thing as a casual kiss from her. I put one arm around her waist, pulling her closer and one hand on her face. She giggles against my lips as if to tell me to stop but I just smile, kissing her more. She laughs, pushing me away gently.

"I'll see you tomorrow."  she kisses my cheek and climbs out of the car.
