What about us?

Kaitlyn, a girl from a small town in Rhode Island, is best friends with Paul Higgin's daughter, Gabrielle. Emily has never wanted to meet One Direction her self because she never was a big directioner. One day Gabrielle begged Kaitlyn to go to the One direction concert in Rhode Island. Kaitlyn gave in and went. When One Direction came back stage it all started all the memories from when she was little.

1. prologue

Kaitlyn's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my best friend, Gabrielle Higgins, screaming at me to wake up. I look at the clock and saw that it was three in the morning. That is the benefit of being best friends with Gabrielle Higgins. Her dad, Paul Higgins, worked for the one and only one direction. I have never really heard of One Direction until Mr. Higgins started working for them. I have never really wanted to meet them because all bands that come from the X-Factor make me think of him.

I really hate him for leaving me and not telling me that he was leaving until the day before. He said that he didn't want to hurt me by telling me, but I couldn't deal with him anymore. I deleted his phone number and ignored all his calls. After a few months he stopped trying. You would think that I would have been relieved, but it sickened me that he would stop trying to find me and say those words that I would slam in his face. The words that would make me feel victorious. The words 'I am sorry'.

"Would you get up!" Gabrielle screamed at me making me jump out of bed and back to reality. "I told you to get up and what do you do? Huh? You stay in bed." It gets really serious when I am late to wake up. Gabrielle is really cranky in the mornings when she doesn't get her coffee. I get out of bed and get dressed. I throw on a blue oversized sweatshirt with some dark blue skinny jeans and gray Uggs. I sit on my bed when I am finished getting dressed and think about how long of a day this is going to be.
