Divergent's Daughter [completed]

Hey, My name is Dani Eaton. I am an outsider...
That means I don't belong.
What do you do when you are the daughter of the two most famous Divergent? Danielle has a lot to live up to and a lot to hide...
She has the added issues of death and family riding on her shoulders.

14. Fourteen

Harrison and I lay on his bed, holding hands. "You know Dani, we could..."

"No!" I yell, "I've been through this! It's to cruel!"

"I'm sorry! I'm just not ready to be a parent, Dani!"

"I don't think I am either. I just can't kill a child. Our child!"

"You have a point!"

I huddle up closer to him and he wraps his arms around me. I feel so upset. I begin to cry into Harrison. "What's the matter Dani?" Harrison asks me stoking my hair. I bury my head into him. "This isn't the life I wanted or expected. What are people gonna think of us?"

"Dani, did you imagine life to be perfect?"

"I dunno?" I let him become part of me. I sink into him. He lifts me up off him and rolls me away. He comes towards me and his lips touch mine. I push him off. "Not now Harrison!"

I grab my jacket and run out of the room.

Everyone is sitting down at the tables.

Bee-tee runs up to me, smiling.

"Hey Dani..! Want some cake?" She grins.

I smile faintly and shake my head slowly. "Bee-tee, I'm not feeling so great right now and..."

I blink back tears and Bee-tee pulls me towards her, her face anxious yet comforting.

A mentor walks in and announces it's training time.

Great! More Fights!

I sigh, clutching my stomach as we all walk into the training rooms.

There is a row of guns lined up on the floor.

I briskly walk up to Harrison and whisper into his ear.

"I thought we were fighting today?"
He smiles and shakes his head. "I changed it for you, I know you're not feel-"

I glance at him pulling a "Thanks" Face and walk back to the group.

Not feeling Well? Sure.....

I wince every time a gun goes off. I walk to the side and sit down.

Sierra slowly approaches. I put my head in my hands and look down.

"Dani?" She asked quietly. "You OK?"

"No...." I mumble.

She sits beside me.

"It's obvious." She smiles.

Her hand slips around my shoulder.

"You make it too obvious." She pulls me into a hug and I cry silently into her blonde hair.
