Finally found

"I'm lost, that's all I am. I just want to find my place in the world. I just want to find where I belong."

"Well It's not here, so leave."

"Wait, please, please help me. I just want to be found. I promise if you help me I'll leave you alone."

"No just stay away from me and my family. Just go away."

2. I'm sorry, what?

Cassidy's POV

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Cassidy, calm down."

"I can't calm down! Tell me why you have brought me here!"

"It's your parents, they um, they-"

"They what!?"
"They, well their plane, it didn't really land they way it was suppose to."

"So, what happened?"

"The plane crashed and well-"

"Well what!?"

"They, they died."

"They died. They died, just like that?"

"Just like that."

"Cassidy! Wake up!"

"Are you ok?" Isabella asked me.

"Ya, I'm fine." I said.

"What were you dreaming about?"

"Oh, it was nothing, it was only a dream."

"Ok, then what was it?" Pearl asked.

"My parents died in a plane crash."

"Wow, why would you dram that?" Chloe asked.

"I don't know, it was really random."

"You know, some people say that when you have dreams like that, your predicting the future." Chloe said. The other girls slapped her on the arm. "Ow!"

"Don't think about what Chloe said, people don't say that." Isabella said, when she said the last part, she gave Chloe a death glare. "I wouldn't worry about the dream, people have dreams like that all the time."

"Ok, um why don't we get ready for school." I said.

When we arrived at school we parted to go to our lockers. While I was standing at mine getting everything I needed, one of my other friends, Tarra, came to talk to me.

"Hey, how are you?" She asked.

"I'm fine." I said.

"That's good, so, I heard you and your little 'group' bought one direction tickets."

"You heard right." 'How did the word get out already?' I thought.

"Oh how nice for you all! Are you going them?"

"Well, ya."

"Oh, I thought you told me you didn't have much interest in the band when we were talking about them the other day."

"Well, I don't but-"

"Ok, so obviously you don't want to go. You know, you don't have to go. I could always take the ticket so the money spend on it doesn't go to waist."

"That's ok, I was going to go."

"Why?" She asked me in a whinny voice.

"I said I didn't have much interest, that doesn't mean I don't like them or don't want to go to their concert."

"Ok, but if you ever change your mind-"

"I won't but what ever." I snapped.

"Anyway, did you hear about the school not being funded enough?"

"What do you mean?"

"I guess you haven't heard. Well, I over heard the principal talking to the super intendent and they said that the school didn't have enough funds to continue running the school." She said. I was a little shocked. I mean, our school is really small, but I didn't think it was so small it didn't have enough funds.

"Your kidding." I said.

"No, so with in the next two weeks, they are collecting everyone's profile, or 'private information' or what ever, and relocating everyone.''

"Really? Do the parents know about this?"

"Not yet, but I assume they will find out pretty soon. Um, Cassidy, don't tell anyone I told you. I wasn't suppose to hear so, don't let word get out about it."

"Ok, I won't tell anyone. I have to get to class, bye." I didn't tell anyone, but I didn't need to for people to find out. Because sure enough in first period we heard an announcement about not having enough funds for the school. We had an assembly that day about it as well. They told us all about moving us to other schools and that we would have all of our records and confidential papers by Wednesday. We spent the whole school day talking about how things would be, when we would be redistricted and when we will be starting school there. At the end of the school day my friends and I walked home together, talking about the whole thing.

"This whole thing has come as a shock, to me. I though the school was doing at least ok." Scarlett said.

"Ya, and the funds were great last year. I wonder what happened." Pearl said.

"Hey, does anyone know how they are going to redistrict us?" Scarlett asked.

"I heard they were doing some sort of alphabetical arrangement." Isabella said.

"Oh, ya I think they are splitting us up into three different districts. The first is A through J The second is K through S and the third is T though Z." Pearl said.

"Chloe, we will be in the same district!" Isabella said.

"Obviously we will be in the same district." Scarlett said to Pearl.

"I guess I'll be on my own." I said.

"Oh, well, we can all still hang out. I mean, It's not like we are moving." Chloe said.

"Ya but, I wont have any of you at my new school." I said.

"But we'll still hang out after school, right?" Chloe asked.

"I guess." Isabella elbowed me in the side. "I mean, right. Of course we will." I said.

Isabella elbowed me because we all needed to stay positive for Chloe. Chloe has been through a lot in her life and through just about everything, we have been there for her. If our group broke up for sure, Chloe would have nothing. We are literally the only people in her life that care about her. She has been through foster care, she was in an orphanage, her parents left her and her older brother on the side of the rode to grow up themselves. Her brother died when he was fifteen of pneumonia ( which was really random, but happened. ) when Chloe was ten. After that she went to the orphanage, after five years or so, they put her in foster care. She's still in foster care and will be until she's eighteen. We are the only thing she has left, if she lost us she would fall apart.

"We were talking to you. Anyway, do you want to come over to my house to hang out?" Isabella asked me.

"Um that's ok, I think I'm going to go on home." I said.

"Your not worrying about the relocating thing, are you?" Scarlett asked me.

"No, no, I have a lot on my mind right now."

"Are you thinking about the dream?" Pearl asked. I forgot all about the dream.

"No, I forgot about the dream until now." I said.

"Nice one Pearl!" Scarlett yelled at her and slapped her on the arm.

"It's ok, really. I'm going to go now, I'll see you all later." They all said bye and I left. I walked home and went to my backyard. I dropped my book bag and went into the woods that was in the backyard. I ran to my favorite spot, it was a beautiful circle of maple trees. I would always climb them and just sit and think. It was a wonderful way to get away from reality. I used to run out there at night, it was the perfect place for star gazing. I don't really do it much anymore because I don't really have time.

When I got there I climbed up my favorite tree, the sixth one to the left of the pathway. I made a pathway the first time I came here so I would always be able to find my way back. I climbed to my favorite branch, seventh from the top on the right side of the tree. I sat where I always sat and just thought about life and how it's going to change. If Pearl was right, then I won't have any friends coming with me to the third school. All of the people who have that last names T through Z are weird, well except for me.

Honestly, I didn't want things to change. My life was perfect, I thought it was perfect anyway. I had great friends, a wonderful family, I didn't have a boyfriend, (At the time, I really didn't care much to have a boyfriend. All I ever heard from girls who had boyfriends was complaints about them.) and I had great grades in school. I didn't want things to change, but of course I had no control of what was about to happen.

And then there was that dream Pearl reminded me about. I was still curious about what that meant. I hope Chloe wasn't right, I hope that she was only joking around. But what if she wasn't? What if my parents really are going to die in a plane crash? What if the dream becomes reality? What if-

As I was thinking my phone rang, I looked at it to find that I had a text message from my mom. It said that I needed to go home for something important. I was hoping it was nothing serious, I climbed down my tree and ran back home. I picked up my book bag from the yard and ran in the back door. My mom was sitting on the couch with a red face and my dad had his arm wrapped around her. He was telling her everything was going to be ok, but she looked like she didn't believe him.

"What happened?" I asked them.

"Cassidy, come sit down. We have something very important to tell you." My dad said. "We were just called by your mom's sister, your aunt Sara. She told us that your grandmother passed away this afternoon."

"What? She passed away." I said.

"Yes. Yes, she did. So your mother and I are flying out to the funeral that will take place in three days. We will be leaving tomorrow night."

"Ok, um, I'm just going to go." I said nothing else and ran out the door back to my favorite spot in the woods.
