To Be Forgotten

Jack Frost was out one day, minding his business (in other words, having a snowball fight,) when he gets caught by Pitch Black, the master of fear, otherwise known as the Boogieman. Jack gets locked in a cage, alone, with no way to contact the other guardians. On his third day there, though, he gets a visit from a strange girl that calls herself Ima. She destroys the lock using a strange pair of metal gloves that somehow make her stronger. She alerts the guardians, and takes Jack to a strange yet amazing place called the Imagine Nation. Just so you know, I do not own the Jack Blank series, or Rise of the Guardians.

3. Jack Blank And The Imagine Nation

We flew for what felt like hours, passing over what seemed to be most of the U.S., and continuing out over the ocean.

"Are we there yet?!?" I shouted over the wind, not bothering to hide the exasperation in my voice.

"You tell me. You have to believe in the Imagine Nation to get there." Ima replied shortly.

"Um, of coarse I believe in the Imagine Nation. I don't really know you, but I'm pretty sure you're not the type that lures someone out over the Atlantic Ocean for no particular reason." I shouted back.

She stopped, turned around, and looked me right in the eye. "Than lead the way." She said, gesturing for me to go in front of her.

"WHAT?!?" I bellowed, utterly bamboozled by the green girl standing before me.

"You heard me. Lead the way. Everyone who goes to the Imagine Nation has to lead the way at some point."

"But I don't know the way!" I whined.

"If you believe, you don't need to. Just trust your instincts. You'll find it." She said calmly.

And that's how I ended up flying head first into a storm without any idea what I was doing. After getting lost in a giant cloud about three times, me and Ima finally got to sunlight. I looked down at the water, and nearly fell out of the air. There, about three miles down, was an island. And not just any island. This one had a mountain that looked like it was made out of diamond, (which I would later learn to be true,) was floating just above the water, and had waterfalls spilling out the sides. Oh, and there was a huge city in one area, and I mean HUGE! Like, made out of sky scrapers, five miles wide huge!

"Welcome to the Imagine Nation, Jack." Ima said, her voice full of pride. Why it was pride, I don't know, but that's what it sounded like. "Oh, I've always wanted an excuse to do this!" Ima squeaked, sounding very un-Ima-like. She sped off towards the city, and I followed. We stopped about three miles above a large section of trees in the middle of a park that (this struck me rather odd) had all four seasons all at once.

"Ok, now one tip about this." Ima told me.

"Ok, what?" I asked.

"Don't fly." Ima said, smirking. Before I could say, "What?!?" Ima took her foot off the peddle that made the hover board float, and plummeted.

Sighing, I followed her.

Just before Ima was going to be impaled by one of the large, black, gnarly trees, she stopped falling. It was as if gravity had turned off.

Ima rolled over in mid-air, and I saw she was laughing her head off. "Gravity Grove!" She exclaimed through giggles. Seeing my questioning look, she began to explain. "Gravity grove is a grove full of lots of some very rare trees called featherwisp trees. The blooms on these trees fall up, as they seemed to have decided that the laws of gravity do not comply to them. The presents of all these featherwisp blossoms causes total anti-gravity. In fact, if it worn't for the featherwisp trees's complicated network of strong roots, the entire orchard would just float away! Now come on! There's someone I'd like you to meet!"

She grabbed her hover board, which was floating nonchalantly about two feet above her head, and sped off once again. I, once again, followed her.

After about two minutes of flying through a complicated network of buildings, Ima stopped at a city square where there was a small family of four standing, seeming to be waiting for us.  There was a man with blond hair and a black scar circling his right eye. Next to him was a woman who was tall, had long hair, and shimmering, silvery skin. They were with who seemed to be their little boy and the mans Dad.

"Jack, meed Jack, Allegra, Revil, and Solomon Roka. In other words, the Blank family." The group grinned and waved at me, and I did the same back. "Hay, guys? Can you give the group a ture of Empire City? I'm sappose to have a meeting with Stendevil in... OH GOSH! I'VE GOT TO BE THERE IN TWO MINUTES!!" With that, Ima hoped back on her hover board and sped off at top speed, looking rather frantic.

"So. I'm guessing you're a new recruit Ima picked up out in the real world. Am I right?" The man, Jack, asked.

"Um, I don't think so. You see, I'm Jack Frost, a guardian, and Ima busted me out of Pitch Blacks lair." I replied.

The other man, Roka, chuckles. "You needed to have help to escape that place? I've invaded the Rustov mother ship alone several times, and haven't gotten caught any more than three times!"

Allegra, upon seeing my look of befuddlement, begins to explain. "The Rustov are a type of alien that relies on host bodies. When they take you over, your body begins to deteriorate and turn into electronics. They've tried several times to take over the world, and were defeated be none other than Jack Blank, or Noteworthy, or Roka, or whatever his last name is. He's the expert on it, and I probably did a really bad job explaining." She said, gesturing to Jack.

"Ok, I'm confused. How can you have three last names?" I asked Jack.

"Ok, that's a long story. You see, Roka," Jack said, gesturing to the older man. "Fell in love with my Mom, who was a secriteer, a person with the power to mess with memories. They keep the Imagine Nation hidden from the outside world. Well, he grew up as a Noteworthy, and wasn't suppose to even know what my mom, let alone any secriteer, looked like. So, since the secriteers couldn't erase his memory of my mom, they erased his memory of himself, making him think that his name was Solomon Roka instead of Solomon Noteworthy, and sent him off, living as a space pirot. I was then born and sent off to an orphanage after the first Rustov invasion, where I was called Jack Blank, because no one knew my last name."

"And I'm slightly afraid to ask about your family history..." I stated, looking at Allegra.

She chuckled. "I'm the second to last pure blood vulgarian."

"What?" I asked.

"I'm an alien."

"WHAT?!?" I yelled at the top of my lungs. They all just laughed.

"You find a lot of strange things at the Imagine Nation. You'll discover that almost everyone here is ether an alien or a superhero. That way, you always fit in. Even Ima, who's got green skin, and can do all sorts of strange things." Said Jack. "I'm the biggest misfit you'll find here at the Imagine Nation, probably."

They all laughed, though for what reason, I have no idea.

"So, can you show me around? I'm sad to say that I have no idea where anything is." I said.

"Ok, let's go, let's go, let's go!" Revil yelled, jumping up and down. "Let's go see uncle Jazen first!" Apparently Jazen's name is pronounced Jason, but for some reason it's spelled Jazen.

"Ok!" Jack shouted back, and they all began to run off in one direction. "You coming, Jack?" Jack yelled.

"Coming!" I laughed. This is going to be funner than I thought.
