Too Late? - A Michael Clifford Fanfiction

Alison and Michael were best friends since pre-school. When he started the band, they started dating. But the other boys hated the idea of her being around all the time although they were happy for their band mate. On the night of Michael's seventeenth birthday, Alison was only sixteen, she gave the one thing to him she would never be able to get back and give to another human being again... Her virginity. And what did he give her? Heartbreak and a child.

After that night, the pair broke up. Michael needed to concentrate on his band. But what he never realized was the secret Alison was hiding from him. The fact that he had a son.

Was Michael right to break up with her and is he too late to show her he's here to stay for good this time?

2. Meet Braxton Clifford

Right, so as you all now know, Michael Clifford is a dad. But no one knows it. Except me, my mum and my friends. I kept it a secret because I knew how much his band meant to him, and it obviously still means the world to him. I mean, he's touring the world now! He's come so far in so little time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first pictures of Braxton were sent from the delivery room. They were sent to Michael but he doesn't know he's the dad. But there he was, a scrawny little boy looking so much like his Father you had to laugh. A cute but kind of funny looking fellow who had some growing to do to fit into the nose he inherited from both me and his Dad. I decided he would be named after his proud Daddy who would keep the Clifford name carrying on for another generation.
I watched patiently as the doctors and nurses cleaned him up a bit before wrapping him in a white hospital blanket and handing him to me. I looked him over. He was perfect. There were no words as to how I could possibly describe this little miracle that I held in my arms. "Hey there baby boy," I choked out as tears fell from my eyes. "I'm your mummy..." I said as one of the nurses took a picture of me and my new son. As I looked him over, without thinking I said "You remind me so much of your daddy. I love you both so much!"  I planted a soft kiss to Braxton's forehead as we were wheeled out of the delivery room. This is just the start of Brax's long life journey. And it's just the beginning of our family too.
