Stole My Heart

The pain I felt that day I ran away still pondered my mind. Did I make the right decision? Did I have to leave to make sure Niall was mine? He promised never to let her take him. So why didn't I believe him?
The pain I felt lying on the park bench. In the cold. Feeling unwanted, unloved and lonely. Why didn't I go home?
So many questions were needing to be answered, but I couldn't answer them. They were questions to stay unanswered. For I didn't have an answer. I was so confused of all the past events. Meeting Niall had led me to a life of pain and misery. And look where we are now. In a room full of pain and misery!

31. "H-how about we go out, like for dinner?"

I exited the large room filled with high tech camera's and ladies wearing fashionable clothes and there hair professionally done by the hair and make up people. I strolled down the long corridor passing wooden doors as I walked. The room was brightly lit by the large window to my left. Cream curtains hung elegantly down the sides as the bright sun light shone on my face. "Hay Harriet" I heard a smiley voice from behind me echo down the corridor and into my ear. I turned my head accidentally flicking my hair a little to confidently. Chloe stopped in front of me and caught her breath. "H-how about we go out, like for dinner?" She slivered her hand into her denim pocket of her shorts and pulled out a white IPhone. "Sure" I smiled copying her actions and unlocking my phone. "So you got a new phone?" I asked as I turned to face the way I was originally walking. Chloe slug her thin, tanned arm around mine so they linked together like 8 year olds did whilst skipping around the playground. I smiled awkwardly and went with it not wanting to be rude. I pushed a strand of my brown fringe out from my turquoise eyes to have it fall gently back over my eyes. I tried blowing, causing my fringe to bounce into the air and fall back to wear it was annoying me. I sighed. "Looks like someone needs a haircut" She grinned flicking my fringe  from my eyes and annoyingly it landed on my cheek, flowing straight down the side of my face and finally out of my eye. "Yeh I haven't had my fringe cut in a while" I agreed even though I didn't particularly like the idea of having my hair cut without my parents permission, although I was 18. Why did I even care what my parents thought? I should just go home with a random Mahican. See if I care what they say! "So, we stop at the hairdressers, get you a make over and i'll book reservations at the Harvester" She pressed the glass screen on her phone with her long painted nails a few times before looking up at me. "Sounds like a plan" I went with her care-free way of life and did what she said. We came to the end of the corridor and out of the door, the warm wind brushing up against my face and the area suddenly becoming lighter. "I'll pick you up at 6" She said more like a statement then a question. "So what's your digits?" She propped her bag over her shoulder and opened up her contact list. I read out my number and she put it into her phone. "Ok cya babe" She leant in and pecked me on the cheek. She was certainly much more classier then the friends i'm use too. I casually smiled and turned away walking down the pebbly pathway. I heard the clicking of her heels getting quieter as we went our separate ways. I pushed the hair away from my face again. Maybe she was right. I did need a haircut. Maybe not a rainbow mahican though. I chuckled to myself and flashed out of my thoughts to turn a corner. "Hay Harry" I felt a warm arm snake around my waist. I looked up to see Niall smiling at me. "Hi" I leant closer to him now knowing who it was. "How did the modelling job go?" He asked as we dodged around a couple people. "Great, there gonna text me when I need to go next" I smiled at the thought of my first proper job. "And you know Chloe, the girl who does your hair at photo shoots?" I looked up at him as he was taller then me. I snatched the snap back off his light fluffy blonde hair and placed it on mine. He laughed before answering. "Yeh what about her?" He playfully went to steal his hat back, but I dodged away from his hand. A cold hard surface smacked into my face. I opened my eyes and saw a silver pole in front of my nose. Niall burst into laughter. His irish accent was strong when he laughed. "A-are you ok?" He asked in between laughs and taking my hand. "I'm fine" I laughed slightly at myself, I could feel the redness on my cheeks increasing. A black land rover with blacked out windows pulled up at the side of the road. Niall opened the door and I smiled before stepping in.I sat in the leather seat waiting for Niall to get in the other side. But he didn't.
