Andromeda's POV

I woke up early the next morning, but I couldn't fall back asleep. I had been having dreams about Yoda and I couldn't decide whether they were memories or if he was trying to talk to me. Or maybe I was just making it all up. I slipped out of top bunk bed, trying to climb lightly down the ladder. I shared a room with Ciara, but she was still sound asleep.

I had heard there was a terrace somewhere in the facility and I intended to find it. Terraces or rooftops were always so calm and I could just sit there and be alone, which was what I preferred to do. I was dressed in a plain blue shirt and black cloth pants, which I decided was appropriate enough in case I ran into someone. I put my auburn hair in a ponytail and rubbed sleep from my green eyes. I slipped on my blue sneakers and opened the door quietly and closed it with the same amount of caution.

After twenty minutes of searching for the roof, I finally stumbled upon a stairway leading there. I climbed up the stairs and looked up at the sky. I wasn't quite sure what planet we were on, as Luke didn't tell me anything, but I could see the sunrise, which was the double sunrise that we had on Tatooine. That was where the boarding school that I had been at for three years was. I walked out onto the roof and saw that someone was already there, spread out on their back, staring at the sunrise. So much for peace and quiet, I thought. I spun on my heel, and headed back towards the door, hoping the stranger wouldn't notice me. "Hey," he said. Damn it.

"Hi,"  I replied. This was getting awkward. Fast.

"So, how's the sunrise?" he asked. I still couldn't see his face.

"It looks like the one where I lived. I lived in Tatooine, by the way." I added.

"This is Tatooine, just saying." This time, he sat up and turned towards me. He had somewhat short hair, which was a darker brown and grey eyes. His face was angular, with high cheekbones and a square jaw. He was very good looking, especially when he cracked part of a smile and only one side of his mouth curved upwards.

"Hey...uh...I'm," I took a breath and steadied my breathing, trying not to stare at his muscular body, "My name is Andromeda, but you can call me Andy." I had only recently found out that Andromeda was the name of a greek princess, as well as the name of the star that Yoda named me after. However, I wasn't worthy of a princess's name, so I had come up with the nick name Andy, which I was hoping would catch on.

"I'm Phoenix, but I prefer Nix." He stood up and shook my hand, which afterwards felt warm and tingly. He sat down again and I took a seat next to him and we spent the next half an hour just staring at the sunrise.

A while later, I finally checked the time on my watch, which had been given to me at the facility. "Dammit. I'm late for training." I cursed under my breath and stood up, rushing towards the door.

"Then, I guess I'll see you around." He smiled at me and I nodded, at a loss for words. I rushed to my room quickly and changed into my training clothes, which were made out of a stretchy material and perfect for sports. I fixed my ponytail and grabbed my light saber and headed out the door.

I ran through a series of corridors, yelling out things like, "Excuse me!" and "Pardon me!" trying to get to the training area. Suddenly, I slammed into someone. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" I apologized.

"It's okay." A tall handsome boy with chocolate brown eyes and blonde hair stood up and smiled, "Don't worry about it."

"I'm late...f-for something." I stuttered. He was also really good looking.

"Well, I'm Auron. Maybe I'll see you around?" he asked.

"Sure. I'm...Andy. I really need to go." I wanted so badly to stay and chat with him, but Luke would get really mad if I was any later. I smiled at him and waved goodbye. I kept rushing to training, but the only thing on my mind was Nix and Auron. They both seemed like great guys and were stunningly attractive. However, I didn't know who I liked more. I barely knew them yet so it was hard to say. It doesn't matter, I thought, Neither of them like you anyway. I shook them both out of my head just as I opened to door to training.
