Lilli Skywalker - So I'm a Jedi...

Lilli Skywalker: Hannah WandArrow
Lilli Wilson never fit in on Earth. She has a terrible adoptive family, and no one seems to understand her. When a boy claiming to be her brother, Luke Skywalker, shows up, she takes the chance to train to be a Jedi.
Now Lilli Skywalker, she must help her siblings find the remaining Jedi and train them. Some including a sarcastic (yet extremely cute) outlaw, Leia herself, and Han's ex-girlfriend.

(In this Movella we made up some back-stories for the characters that aren't really canon)

28. Nice Guys

Lilli's POV

I was sitting alone in one of the smaller caves, leaning against the wall. I needed a few minutes alone, just to think about...everything. I couldn't believe it had only been a few months since I was introduced to this world, and today we had to escape a dragon.

Nix stormed into the cave and strode to the opposite wall. He cursed and slammed his fist against the wall cracks appeared in the stone. He kept slamming his fists into the wall until blood dripped from his knuckles. I jumped up and ran to him, "Phoenix! Calm down! What has gotten into you?" I grabbed his arms and pulled them away from the wall.

"Lilli? I...I didn't know you were in here." He yanked his arm away and stepped back.

"Clearly." I shook my head, "What's wrong?"

"None of your business."

"You could've really hurt yourself, Nix! It's kind of my business if one of my friends flips out and injures himself." I glanced at his fist. The skin had split on his knuckles and blood seeped from it, but he didn't seem to notice or care.

"I'm just...mad. Okay?" He looked down at me, and I saw in his eyes exactly why he was so angry. His look was pained and betrayed, soft but strong. His grey eyes were stormy and his expression grim. He looked gorgeous, even when he was angry, but bad boys weren't really my type. It was hard to admit, but I liked Ryder. He could be a little infuriating sometimes, but he wasn't really the dangerous kind.

"You...you like Andromeda, don't you? And I'm guessing something happened between her and Auron," I crossed my arms and raised my eyebrows.

"What? You're insane." He shook his head. Gone was the vulnerable look in his eye that conveyed his hurt. It had only flashed across his face for a second. Now, his expression was blank and unreadable.

"No. I'm right!" However, he continued to shake his head at me. Fine, if he didn't want to admit it, that was his problem.

"Even if I did, it doesn't matter." He started to leave but I grabbed his arm. His muscles were strong and prominent.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm not talking about this with you," He started to walk away, "As a matter of fact, I'm not talking about this with anyone.

"Stop. We are going to talk about it. Why doesn't it matter?"

"Because guys like me don't get the girl," His voice was barely audible, but it somehow managed to scare to crap out of me. Even when Nix was weak, he was strong. "Nice guys like Auron do. You happy?" He shouted and wrenched his arm out of my grasp. He shoved his hands into his pockets and walked away without another word.

I stood, dumbstruck, as he left the cave.
