Lilli Skywalker - So I'm a Jedi...

Lilli Skywalker: Hannah WandArrow
Lilli Wilson never fit in on Earth. She has a terrible adoptive family, and no one seems to understand her. When a boy claiming to be her brother, Luke Skywalker, shows up, she takes the chance to train to be a Jedi.
Now Lilli Skywalker, she must help her siblings find the remaining Jedi and train them. Some including a sarcastic (yet extremely cute) outlaw, Leia herself, and Han's ex-girlfriend.

(In this Movella we made up some back-stories for the characters that aren't really canon)

1. Luke

Jump, flip, land, climb back up. I repeated the cycle during the last gymnastics class of the year. I was so glad to get out of here. Out of the school year life in general, really.

It's not that I don't like gymnastics, because I do, it's just the girls. All pretty and mean and competitive. I guess I'm okay looking, but I like to think I'm a good person. Competition just isn't my thing.  The opposite of me. I've always been pretty athletic, but not really into sports. I'm flexible and fairly fast, and my hand-eye-coordination is not too shabby.

That day I walked home alone. I didn't have any good friends, as I didn't seem to fit in anywhere.

The sun was setting as I turned onto the street of my adoptive family. They hated me. I guess I'm just too weird.

In the front yard someone was waiting for me.

"Lilli? Lilli Wilson?" An older teenager with an odd black jacket and black pants walked towards me. I hesitated, but this seemed important so he might as well know my name, "Uh, yeah."

"Good. Come with me. My name's Luke Skywalker." He had sandy blond hair and was quite handsome. I didn't really like his haircut though, it was so stiff, like the rest of him. He couldn't seem to relax.

"What do you want?" I asked cautiously.

"This is hard to explain but....your real name is Lilli Skywalker. Lilli I am your brother." He rolled his eyes, after saying that last part dramatically in a low tone, "Deja vu, right?"

"Not really..." I said, my eyes wide. What was going on. This guy is my brother?! What kind of a last name is SKYWALKER?!

"Sorry, let me explain more. This is gonna sound insane. Our dad was an evil leader. He and our mom had my twin, Leia, and I right before he turned evil. When he did, he kept our mom as a prisoner, but everyone thought she was dead. He was mad when he sent Leia and I away to protect us. Then he had you, and she sent you here. Earth is one of the only independent planets that doesn't know about other galaxies and planets in great detail. Anyways, she sent you here. She had already sent Leia and I away, and that's why our father got mad and put her in prison. When she sent you, he killed her out of anger. He died last year, but he had become good again." Luke paused, waiting for my reaction.

"You-you're lying." My voice trembled and I tried to run away. An unseen force stopped me and I screamed. My adoptive family wasn't home, so there was no one to help me. It must be the girls at school trying to prank me. They know how much I love Sci-Fi.

"Shhhh....I'm not lying, or trying to hurt you. I just need your help. You, our sister, and I are some of the last of a race of warriors called Jedis. We need all of them to protect the universe from evil forces. If you start now you can be well trained as a Jedi. Your potential just isn't here on Earth. We can leave now if you pack your things. is there anyone you would like to say goodbye to?"

I thought of my (adoptive) alcoholic dad, bitchy mom, and evil brother, "No, there's no one I want to say goodbye to. I don't know about....going." I didn't really fit in here, but what if this guy was just insane?

"Trust me. Watch this." He raised his hand and a flower pot, with nothing but weeds left in it, moved a few feet across the porch. I gasped, and he smiled. He then reached into his large jacket and produced a short metal rod with button on it. He pressed the button and a long blue light shot out of the end and stayed there. He sliced the pot on the porch in half with the light, then pressed the button again and the light shut off.

"Moving things with your mind is called "the force". If you train hard enough you can move larger objects as well. That weapon was a "light-saber". They are the most common weapon among Jedi. Now go get your things before your family gets home. We must leave soon." Luke nodded towards the door. I unlocked it and ran upstairs. Luke surprisingly followed, his footsteps nearly silent.

I entered my small room, and sat down my backpack. I pulled a large duffel bag out of the closet as well. I pulled out all my favorite clothes, as well as average toiletries, bla bla bla. I grabbed a few of my favorite books, and my old laptop and phone. Luke looked at these items curiously but stayed silent. He pulled a phone looking object out of his other pocket and opened it pressing some buttons, "Han? Yeah it's Luke. I got her, can I talk to Leia?" "Hey Leah-she's packing-yeah we'll be back tonight-okay I'll call you when we get on my ship." Luke shut the device and glanced at my computer cord and phone charger, "You can get adapters to the power outlets we use, in our galaxy." He said, sitting on my bed.

"Your galaxy?! You mean you're not from Mars or something?" I gasped.

"Hell no! Mars in uninhabitable, as is the rest of your galaxy. Our galaxy is far away.

"How old are you?" I asked.

"What?" He looked startled as such a simple question. I noticed how similar my blue/green eyes were to his.

"If you're my brother, I deserve to know about you." I walked to my bedside table and cleared all of the important stuff from it.

"I'm 18. My best friend- I guess since he isn't much of a friend, more like a companion that frequently pisses you off- is Han Solo, Leia's boyfriend. He has a wookie friend, never mind you don't know what a wookie is. We have two droids, sort of like intelligent robots. C-3PO, he's a translation droid. And R2-D2, he....does a lot of important technical stuff. You won't understand him, C-3PO translates. You know about our parents. I grew up on the planet Tatooine with my aunt and uncle. Our dad's army....killed them." Luke sighed as I awkwardly cleared out my underwear drawer. I heard the door open downstairs and cursed under my breath.

"Get out the window." I locked my door, and slid on my backpack, surveying the room for anything left behind.

"I'll take your suitcase with the force." Luke opened the window and raised his hand, lifting the suitcase.

"Um....ok. Do....whatever that is. Hurry! They'll be up here to yell at me any minute." I grabbed a sharpie and wrote on the wall:

 Went with my old family

I stuck the sharpie in my bag and climbed out the window. I didn't have time to climb, so I jumped, flipped, and landed in the grass. Luke looked impressed. He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the forest near my house. After walking through the forest for a while, I saw a small metal spaceship.

"What's that?" I gasped. This guy wasn't lying.

"My star fighter. I got one with two seats, so you can fit. Let's put your stuff in the back. I nodded and he opened the trunk, lowering my bag so the suitcase entered it. I pulled my small purse out of my backpack and put the backpack in the trunk too. He gestured for me to get in after he closed the trunk and opened the roof. I climbed into the passenger seat and saw rows and rows of buttons and a few different controllers. Luke climbed in and turned the ship on. It rose above the forest. I watched my hometown slip away from sight as we punctures the atmosphere. I fell back in my seat and Luke laughed. I could tell he was going to be a great brother. Meaning, annoying.

We now were rising above Earth. I was too mesmerized to speak. Stars were all around us, far away in other galaxies. Earth was a swirl of blue and green and brown. Luke pressed a button and I was flung back once again. The stars were now streaks of white, and I guessed we were on hyperspace.
I might not know what a Jedi is, but I'm a huge Sci-Fi nut.
