Lilli Skywalker - So I'm a Jedi...

Lilli Skywalker: Hannah WandArrow
Lilli Wilson never fit in on Earth. She has a terrible adoptive family, and no one seems to understand her. When a boy claiming to be her brother, Luke Skywalker, shows up, she takes the chance to train to be a Jedi.
Now Lilli Skywalker, she must help her siblings find the remaining Jedi and train them. Some including a sarcastic (yet extremely cute) outlaw, Leia herself, and Han's ex-girlfriend.

5. BOUNTY HUNTER?

"BOUNTY HUNTER?" I yelled, entering the training hall where Leia had told me to meet her and Luke. Han was sitting nearby, looking bored. He turned his head as I said this though.
   "What?" Luke had turned pale.
"The new recruit is a freaking BOUNTY HUNTER." I stopped in front of them.
Leia cursed under her breath, "I'm so sorry Lilli, I didn't know. You're still okay with going though right?"
"What?! Of course she can't go." Han strode toward us. My eyes widened. Was he....protecting me?
"She can handle herself Han. You managed against some bounty hunters." Leia said firmly.
"That's because I'm not afraid to kill them. If I didn't kill Greedo, he would've killed me."
"I don't know about this..." Luke ran a hand through his dirty blond hair.
"I think...I think I can do it." I said reluctantly.
"What?!" Han seemed fairly calm, but his fists were clenching at his sides.
"I can handle myself. And there's a first time for everything, right?" I adjusted my belt with my gun and lightsaber.
"Ok. I guess it's your choice. Your ship is over there, and the coordinates are programmed into the GPS." Luke gestured to the small ship I had been training on.
The guy lived in Tatooine as well, so I wouldn't have to leave the planet.
I climbed into the ship and took off, eventually stopping above a dingy neighborhood. I parked behind the guys house and knocked on the door, which was about to fall off it's hinges. A boy answered it.
"Why are you here?" He asked. He was trying to look tough, but I could see through him. He was frightened.
"I'm here on business from the government."
He raised a gun to my face.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna arrest you." I rolled my eyes.
"Get out anyways. Or give me more of an explanation for why you're here."
"I'm training to be a Jedi, and-"
"You're a Jedi, huh? What does that make me, a wookie?" He snorted, and I shoved past him into his small hut, slamming the door behind me. I took out my lightsaber and pointed it at his chest.
"Yes, I'm a Jedi. In training. Now, if you want to stay alive, I suggest you listen to me. My name is Lilli Skywalker, and my siblings are trying to find the rest of the Jedi and train them. You, are one of them. We need to train you, in case evil strikes again." I finished, and he stared at me incredulously, his dark eyes wide. He then shoved me out and slammed the door in my face. I groaned, and trudged back to my ship. I climbed in and locked it, picking up this walkie-talkie device and calling Luke and Leia.
Me-We have a problem.
 Luke-Did you find him?
Me-Yes, he's just...
 Leia-Reluctant?
Me-Uncooperative. I'll have to stay the night here.
Luke-Okay, call if there's any more trouble.
Me-Okay. (I hesitated, deciding whether or not to say "Love you" but I didn't).
 Luke-Be careful, Lilli.
 *Luke hangs up*
I laid down across the two connected front seats, using my cloak as a pillow.
"I will." I whispered into the air as I drifted off.

 Next morning...
I woke to the sound of loud voices. I sat straight up, quickly fixing my hair and slipping my gun and lightsaber into my belt, pulling my cloak on top. I opened the door, the hot Tatooine sun beating down on me. I decided to leave the cloak and ran around the hut, seeing the front door was broken down. Inside, a group of men were surrounding Ryder, and he held a knife in front of him.
One of them raised a gun, and aimed it at his head.
"You deserve this, kid." His gruff voice came our excited, like he had been wanting to do this for years.
I quickly got out my stun gun and shot at the man, but missed the first time. Hey, I was still in training. I aimed a couple more shots and eventually got him. I took out two of his allies but the other two came rushing towards me.
One knocked the gun out of my hand, and the other hit my cheek. I fell over, dizzy, and screamed weakly.
I saw my gun and grabbed it, jumping up and shooting one man. I kicked the other in the groin, then punched his nose. My punches weren't very powerful and he barely had to shake it off.
He grabbed my ankle and yanked it out from under me, and I fell once again onto the dirt. I felt him punch and kick me over and over, until everything was fuzzy.
I laid on the ground, too weak to act but thankfully rRyder had grabbed my gun and shot the man. I stood up shakily, trying to grab my gun back, but I fell again, and this time, I was out cold.

I opened my eyes slowly to a pounding in my head, and discovered I was in my own ship. It was moving. But i wasn't driving it. I sat up straight and moaned as a pain shot through my whole body.
"Morning." I heard a male voice beside me and I turned to see Ryder driving the ship.
"What are you doing?" I croaked.
"Saving your life." He shrugged. He looked back at me and smiled. I knew he was a nice guy.
 I suddenly remembered the fight.
"I had it under control." I tried to keep some of my dignity.
He laughed dryly, "Sure you did." I rolled my eyes, trying not to smile.
"Well, thanks for helping me," There was a moment of silence before I asked, "So, where are we going?"

"No where. I had to get away from that place before more people came, and luckily I had just been offered a place to stay, so I was waiting for you to wake up and tell me where to go.

 "Let me drive." I said.
 "No."
"I won't tell you where to go then."
"That's fine by me. We can stop somewhere random. Maybe have a few kids, start a life together." He said and he smiled at me again.
 "Please, just let me drive."
"Fine. But only because it's your ship, and I'm a nice guy. But I expect a reward." He said smugly. My heart skipped a beat. He was very attractive, but a little infuriating.
"What did you have in mind?"
He raised his eyebrows suggestively, and I made a face.
 "No way."
 "Then you're not driving."
 "You are disgusting. But fine."
"Like you don't want all this." He gestured at himself, clad in jeans and a brown shirt. I didn't admit to him, or myself, that I did want all that. Okay, I am going insane. I never liked anyone on Earth because they all thought I was a freak. This guy actually seems to think I'm attractive. I'm not gorgeous or anything, but all this training has seriously helped.
"Get over yourself." I rolled my eyes and tried to climb over him, pressing the auto-drive button temporarily.
"What are you doing?" He asked, trying to shove me back to my side of the ship.
"Trying to drive." I said, shoving back, one leg awkwardly bent over him. I gave one last shove and we both fell against each other, on the floor of the ship, me on top of him.
"Um...." I tried to get up but I tripped on his leg and fell down again. We kinda stared at each other for a minute, our faces dangerously close.
"While we're down here....." He said, leaning closer.
And he kissed me. This guy I barely knew. And I freaking kissed him back. I moved my legs so they were on either side of him. His hands tangled in my dirty, messy hair. It came to my attention how dirt-covered and banged up I was, and I felt slightly self-conscious. Suddenly I opened my eyes. What was I doing? I jumped up and sat in the drivers seat, turning the ship around.
Ryder climbed up a moment later, avoiding eye contact, and we rode back to Tatooine in complete, awkward, silence.
