Chapter 4 - Harry's P.O.V.

I walked into Starbucks and saw Camille sitting with a beautiful babe. I couldn't help but stare at her, running my eyes down her body as I took a seat. I don't know why I asked Camille to be my girlfriend the other night. I guess the boys thought it was a good idea to date a good girl for a change.

Ugh, shouldn't have taken their advice, because now all she does is stare at me. She introduced the beautiful girl and I to each other. Lilian, what a lovely name. I spaced out thinking about her until we shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. She got up to order and I realized I hadn't ordered either, so I followed her. Maybe I can actually talk to her without Camille staring at me. I tapped her shoulder and she turned around, a look of boredom and impatience on her mystifying face.

"So, are you and Camille good friends?" I asked her, wondering if I broke up with Camille, whether or not she would have me. I hope so, because now that I've met her I need her. I have to get her. Maybe I sound crazy and delusional but this beautiful babe is taking over my mind.

"Kinda, I mean we talk and hang out every now and then. Do you really care about her, or are you leading her on? Because she really likes you and I don't want you to hurt her, best friends or not." She says, giving me an annoyed, yet determined look. Wow, that's hot. Ugh, she just called me out on this, and here I am thinking it's hot. Can you say, mental face palm?

"I like her, and she seems pretty cool but we aren't extremely committed yet," I respond with a shrug.

Just as she was about to say something the employee called out next. She gave him her order and clasped her hands in front of her before walking away to wait for her drink. I gave the employee my order before walking to stand by her. She gave me a glance before grabbing her coffee as her name was called she waved and said goodbye to Camille before gracefully walking out the door and down the street. I glanced at Camille. There really is no reason to stay here so I decided to be rude and just leave. I got my drink quickly and rushed out the door without another word.

Lilian's P.O.V.

I unlocked my car quickly wanting to get away from Harry as soon as possible. He is being such a jerk to Camille, and she is completely blind! He's not even that cute. Ok. I take that back he's insanely hot, I'll admit. But he's nothing like that blond boy I met the other day. I backed out of the alley as I suddenly realized why Harry was so familiar. Him and the blond boy were running from the grocery door yesterday!

How did I not notice that sooner? I let out a disgusted noise as I thought about how Camille wouldn't stop staring at Harry like a love-struck puppy when he obviously barely even acknowledges her. Ugh, stupid boy, leading her on like that. I took a turn on to my road as I thought about that screwed up relationship. I pulled in my driveway and grabbed my drink from the console. As I opened the door I dropped my keys in the dish. I looked inside the kitchen and saw Michael leaning over the stove making chocolate chip pancakes like he used to always do on the holidays. My mom was sitting at the counter smiling appreciatively at her son and just chatting about what he's been up to. I walked in, loving the atmosphere of the room.

It hasn't been like this since Michael left. I mean, I love my mom but Michael just had an air of happiness around him. Hm.... He's seemed overjoyed lately. Maybe he found a girl. I'll have to ask him later. I sat down next to my mom. She turned to me with a bright smile on her face.

"So what were you up to today Lilian," she asks, curiosity obvious on her face.

"Just visiting a friend," I replied smiling until I thought of Harry, ruining my thoughts yet again.

"Well, Michael is making pancakes!" She said excitedly. See, my mother, for a reason unknown to us, can't make pancakes. I don't know why, she just can't.

"That's good. Haven't had pancakes around here in a while,"I said, nudging her before continuing."but I'm gonna go get Michael's car from the mechanics. It hasn't been running so I called a tow truck to take it over there. I figured since it's only a block or two away, I'll just walk. Actually it should be done just about now." I said while checking my phone and seeing that it was 12:50.

I waved bye before throwing my empty cup away and grabbing my earbuds so I could listen to music during the walk. I started out on the sidewalk cheerful my head bopping to the music. I almost didn't notice when I nearly ran in to the guy in front of me. I tripped and saw concrete coming my way until I felt two strong hands grab my elbows.

I looked up to see that blond boy from the grocery store the other day. For a moment I just gazed into his eyes, not partaking in the world around me. At least until he cleared his throat and I realized how ridiculous I must look. I gave him a shy smile before he helped me up.

"Sorry,"I said, embarrassment clear on my face from my red cheeks.

"It's ok, I don't mind when beautiful girls bump into me. I'm Niall by the way." He said, giving me an appreciative look after introducing himself.

"Lilian." I responded, sticking my hand out to shake his.

"Well, where are you headed?" He responded in an accented voice, maybe Irish, I'm not sure.

"To the mechanic down the road. I need to get my brothers car."I said pointing in the direction I was going.

"Oh, well I'm headed that way too, mind if I walk with you?"Niall said, a shy yet hopeful look on his face.

"Don't mind at all." I responded, a real smile on my face. I want to get to know this boy better.

"Well, Lilian how long have you been in New York?"

"Most of my life. My mom got a job opportunity when I was young and transferred from Pennsylvania to here. How long have you been here?"

"Just a few months. I have business with my job to do here." He responded, a smile on his sexy face. Oh crap, here I go again. Hello endless dreams about this Irish boy.

"Hm, sounds interesting. What is your job exactly." I said, genuinely curious

"I just work in the music industry. What are your plans for the future?"

"I don't know. I'll just have to see where the wind blows me." I told Niall, because I really didn't know what I wanted to do with my life.

"Oh, you're one of those. Cool,"he said flashing me a wink."so, what's your favorite TV show?"

"Scooby-Doo. Don't know why, don't care. Just is. Yours?"

"Mine is Two and a Half Men. It's hilarious. Hmm....favorite color?"

"Blue, forever and always. You?"

"Green, but blue is my second favorite. Who's one of your favorite celebrities?"

"Justin Bieber. I just like his sound, you know?"

"Oh my gosh, I like Justin Bieber too!"he said before putting his hand up to high five me, which I gladly did.

"Oh hey, sorry this is my stop, but uh, we could exchange phone numbers if you like?" I ask shyly, really wanting his number, but not wanting to seem pushy. He chuckled before responding.

"Sure,"he said a twinkle in his eye before taking my phone and putting his number in. I watched him walk away for a minute after waving goodbye. He turned his head to look at me and I quickly looked away and down towards my feet. Well, wasn't this just a fabulous day, I thought to myself before entering the mechanic shop.
