"I wasn't asking about you." I screamed at him.
"oh yeah, not what I heard."
"well trust me, I wouldn't make my life revolve around some stupid, arrogant, manwhore anyways." I felt the rage inside of me with that last sentence.
I walked away with my head held high, no regrets, nothing. It felt like a ton of brick had been lifted off my shoulders, I had relief from him.
He ran up and grabbed my arm tightly, I tried to jerk away but his grip only got tighter. "Let go of me I'm going home!" "No you're not!" and with that, everything went black.

33. Chapter 32

I quickly walked to my next class. I kept my head down, I didn't want to make eye contact with anyone. I sat down in my next and began getting my notebook ready. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through instagram, nothing new. Scrolled through twitter, nothing new. I can at least relax and know he isn't trying anything through social media.
The bell rang signaling the next period is beginning. My teacher was taking attendance when there was a knock at the door. The boy closest to the door opened the door and there was a teddy bear with a card. The boy made his way over to me and said,
"They are for you...your boyfriend must really love you..."
I opened the card and it simply read:

"I'm going to show you that I can be the perfect boyfriend. You will then, not be able to keep me out of your mind. Will creep in at any moment. Making you want me more and more. I promise."

I read his words slow, sexual, but mostly manipulative. If this was his game, making me fall for, it wasn't going to work. He could send me gifts, he could write cards, he could do whatever, but he was NOT going to creep into my mind and sure as hell was NOT going to make me fall for him.
The day was finally over and I received a present every period. Everything from flowers, to a bear, to candy, to gift cards. I got into my car and began driving away after I put all the presents in the backseat. I turned out of the high school's parking lot as if I was going home. Then a sudden idea popped into my head, fuck this. I'm not keeping this shit. So I popped a U-turn and began driving to Justin's house.

I pulled up and parked in his drive way. I grabbed all the shit out of the backseat and put it on the mat at the front door. I rang the door bell and was ready to faceJustin and tell him to knock it the fuck off. There was no answer. I rang it again, still no answer. I sighed in out of frustration and turned, planning on leaving the stuff there for him to pick up himself. I turned around, only to see Justin. Him and I, nose to nose.

I tried to stumble out words, but before I could even open my mouth...
"I see the presents worked..?" he simply said, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Yeah , it brought me here, to return it..." I knocked his hand away from my face, a puzzled look grew across his face.

"Why? What do you mean?" he sounded honestly concerned. Almost like he meant to send the presents.
"I'm not playing games Justin." the words spilled out before I could even process what I was going to say, "I'm not 5. I'm also not looking for a middle school relationship." I took a deep breathe and tilted my head back. I looked back at him, his eyes looked a little more watery than before. "I'm not trying to be a bitch. But honestly Justin, you are so wishy washy. One second you hurt me and treat me like trash, and the next you want to treat me like an angel. I can't do that. Make up your mind, and then maybe I'll still be around."
I walked past him, gently touching his shoulder with mine. I heard him whisper as I walked away, and when I got back in my car he was looking up at me. He was sitting on the steps of his front porch, hands in his hair, elbows on his knees and the saddest look on his face; simply breaking my heart.
