It was late when the campfire finally burned out and we began to collect our rubbish. I had discovered that marshmallows were yummy, especially when roasted over an open fire.

As the they all made their way up the beach, Niall dropped back to talk to me, we had become close friends during the time around the campfire. I had learned that they all lived together in a big house, also El and Louis were dating and Zayn and Perrie were a couple too.

"So did you enjoy the s'mores?" Niall nudged me playfully, making me giggle.

"Yup, best thing I have ever eaten!" I grinned at him. Throwing his arm around me he replied, "That's the right answer, my friend!" Niall laughed, "So are you from around here?"

I shook my head, "No, I just came here to get away from my family and crazy lifestyle for a while." Shrugging, I turned to look at him, "What about you, are you originally from this place?" I questioned him.

"Nah, I'm from Ireland, but the lads and I are in a band together so we bought a house by the coast as a 'paparazzi get-away' I guess." Niall answered, a happy expression on his face. I didn't know what 'paparazzi' were, but I nodded in agreement anyway.

Niall turned to me suddenly, "Do you need a lift to your hotel or where ever your staying?"

Crap, I thought, I don't have anywhere to stay!

"Oh, well..." I paused, not knowing if it would be rude to ask, "I don't actually have a place to stay. Or any clothes, I kinda left in a hurry..." I trailed off, uncertain of what Niall was going to say.

"No problem, you can stay at our place. We have an extra room and I'm sure the Perrie and El would love to have another girl about." He offered to me, glancing at the rest of the group ahead of us.

I sighed with relief, "Thank you so much Nialler, I thought I was going to be sleeping in the sea tonight!" I giggled, I quickly stopped when I saw the look of confusion on his face, "I mean, on the streets. It's a phrase where I come from."

Oops, I needed to be more careful in future.

The car pulled up outside a massive house, lit up at the front with lights sunken into the ground. As we walked up the path and reached the door, I noticed a small box with a button beside the doorway. Confused, I pressed it much to the entertainment of the others.

"Never seen a doorbell before, Farren?" Harry laughed jokingly, causing a smile to appear on my face, You don't know how right you are Harry, I thought to myself before speaking, "Thank you so much for letting me stay you guys, I was so silly forgetting to book a hotel."

"It's fine, we need more girls in the house anyway." Perrie giggled, shoving Louis out of the way of the door.

"Hey! What was that for?!" He exclaimed loudly, putting on a playful pout.

"Well you were just standing there, and I believe our guest should enter first." El poked him in the chest as she gestured for me to head in.

My mouth dropped open, and I clutched my satchel closer as I stepped inside. The floors were wooden, something we didn't have in the sea was flooring, we just let the sand stay were it was. A large lampshade hung from the ceiling, resembling a sea urchin with the intricate spikes of metal, several doors opened off from the hallway and a set of carpeted stairs rose up the left hand side.

"I'll show you your room, follow me." El said, linking arms with Perrie and skipping up the stairs. I walked to the end of the stairs, before cautiously placing a bare foot on the carpet. It felt soft underneath my feet, nearly like an anemone. Realising I was getting left behind, I sprinted upwards in suit of the two girls.

"Well, this will be your room while you stay with us, Farren." Perrie smiled at me, pointing into a room with light blue walls and fluffy white carpeting.

I was speechless, staring at the driftwood shelves and jars of sand and sea shells.

"Wow!" I finally mustered up the words, "It reminds me so much of home."

Daydreaming back to my room in the palace, which also had driftwood shelves. In the palace my room had a cushioned bed with a seaweed woven throw, coral decorations and even a few pet seahorses floated freely around.

I was brought back to reality when El snapped her fingers in my face, "Earth to Farren? Why did you leave home so suddenly?" She questioned, a look of concern fleeting across her face.

"Uh, well... My parents are quite important people where I'm from. My dad was always spoiling me and treating me like a little rich girl, I guess, and my mom never really had time to talk to me. Don't get me wrong, they're great people, but I'm not really a beauty obsessed person or a perfect example of a princess. I prefer to be free and roaming the seaside, wearing normal clothes rather than all the dresses they gave me."

They both looked at each other, before Perrie spoke up, "What do you mean your not a perfect example of a princess?"

My eyes widened, noticing I had said too much in my rant about leaving.
