The Fan Girl

For the first time...
I felt free,
like no one could touch me,
he was mine,
and I was his fan girl...

but you have to wake up sometimes

8. Plane Ride Thoughts

This is it..

I must look like a freak, considering, I've been staring at the plane entrance for about 10 minutes, making the flight attendant seem a little uncomfortable in the process.

"Um, ma'am, are you....are you getting onto the plane?" She asked unsure.

Get on the plane you idiot! You look like you have no idea what's going on!

I shook my head to wake myself up.

"Oh uh yes...yes I am" I said grabbing my suitcase and carrying it towards the entrance of the plane.

I handed her my ticket, and awkwardly shuffled into the through the shoot, and into the plane.

Why does it smell so strongly of vanilla and peanuts?

I quietly began to walk through the aisle towards my seat.

'209' I said in my head, looking for the seat number.

My eyes widened in terror, and my knees almost have out in fear, as I passed one guy, sleeping with his eyes open.

"That's not right" I whispered, shuffling a little quicker.

I sighed relived when in fact, found the right seat number, AND I was not sitting beside the open eyed sleeper.

I heaved my suitcase and bag into the bag holder just above the seats, and literally collapsed into my seat.

I looked out the tiny window, hoping to see a little bit more of my hometown, before I left, like one of those movies...but in fact, was met with an open field with runway lights leading down, what little I could see of the road ahead of us.

But hey, I'm not complaining...

"Good evening passengers, this is your captain speaking, please fasten your seat belts, as we are about to take off, thank you, and please have a great flight" a mans voice said through a speaker.

My eyes widened as I fastened my seat belt and felt the plane begin to shake.

I looked out the window to see the field, become lower then what it recently was.

My head shot forward looking in front of my, to keep myself from hurling all over the window.

I thought my flight would be a little more...enjoying.

I sighed thankfully, when the sign for the seat belts turned off, I couldn't take any more pressure from mine on my stomach...or something I won't be proud of...might just happen.

I breathed deeply to calm myself down, and after 10 or 20 minutes of it, it actually worked.

I sighed relieved that the sickness feeling was gone, and let my head fall onto the window.

I gazed out into the sky, to see that it was in fact night time...so maybe my '10' or '20' minutes of breathing...was a little longer than I thought.

I can't help but think, about what I would do in London...

Where would I stay?

A hotel, you dunce...

Who would I meet?

British people, stupid...

What would I eat?

Food...oh my, your an idiot...

My mind is rude...

"Ma'am I said, would you like a drink"

I snapped out of it, looking to my side to see a flight attendant

"Oh I'm fine thanks" I said smiling at her.

She looked at me weirdly, but smiled and walked to the next person.

She even thinks your a weirdo...

Oh shut up, your me!

I groaned at all the thoughts swarming in my head...the thing I hate, about having time on my hands...

Man I hate Plane Ride Thoughts....
