1. Chapter One

I woke up to Peeta's hand in my hair and his soft breath on my face. I gently stroked my swollen stomach and wondered how I got here. Not that I don't like it, I just know I can never turn back. His eyes flicker open and he looks at me, first with fear and then with love. His fingers twirl in my hair and I smile. Throughout all we've been through he still loves me. And I will always love him. He's part of me and Peeta will always be my love. We are forever. •

We get dressed and go downstairs. Neither of us have to work so most of the we visit the districts and go out into the woods. •

After breakfast he takes me in his arms and holds me. I rest my head on his chest and he puts his chin on my head. We stay like that for five minutes and then I look up at him and he kisses me. I close my eyes and think about everything I love about him. I'm not close to finishing by the time he pulls away. He smiles shyly at me and I step back to let him see my stomach. He's going to be the perfect dad. He grins at me and I grin back. "I gotta go, I'll see you later" I smile. "I love you. Stay safe, I worry about you in this state!" He let's go of my hand and I walk outside. •

I'm headed District Four today, to teach some children wild swimming. The districts aren't as poor now, but they still aren't as well off as Capitol - where I now live.

The day passes quickly and I return home. I don't know why, today has gone well, but I have a sick feeling in the back of my throat, like something awful is about to happen. Peeta calms me. He knows something's wrong the minute I come inside. He's made tea and sits me down. I don't touch it. Once he's finished we both wonder upstairs and into bed. I pull the duvet up around me and try to figure out what's going on in my head. I can't. Eventually Peeta pulls the duvet back and smiles at me with an eyebrow raised. •
