The Suffering

"Whatever I do someone gets hurt, so if you're my best friend, it's like suicide."

That's what Ava thinks. And most of the time it's true! She accidentally gets angry and physically, mentally, AND to top it off, usually emotionally hurts you. She can't help it and when she commits a crime by accidentally knocking a girl down and her rolling down a hill into a lake, Ava tries to convince everyone she's not a freak girl and she just..well...suffers

4. The Mistake

After my parents split, mom and I felt alone. Mom says she did the right thing, and I guess that's true. No more abuse. Mom made some lemonade but I could see that she was feeling pretty bad, because it was a bit sour, probably how she was feeling. I told her I was going to the park, and I walked there. It was about 3:00 in the afternoon, so it was beautiful out.

When I got there I sat on the swings. I pushed myself up until it felt like I was flying. I jumped off, and my ankles stung. I saw one of my friends talking to a stranger to me. She looked popular, so this couldn't be good. As soon as I walked closer and waved to Bella, my friend, the girl made a face. I knew that look. Disgust.

She whispered something to Bella. I glared at her and ran at her.

"I know you think I'm a freak!" I yelled. I didn't stop running. She squealed and put her hands in front of her. I rammed into her. She fell over and landed in a pile of mud. When she tried to get up, she slipped and rolled down a hill that was there. At the bottom of the hill? A lake. She fell right in. I screamed and ran after her.

She was gasping for air and would drown soon. I plunged into he cold waters to save her. She glared but knowing life was on the line, she let me help her. I pulled her onto land. She ran off crying. At least I saved her. The only problem?
