They both layed in bed staring at the wall. Not saying anything. Tyler rolled over to look where he wasn't laying. She stared off into the darkness that was his bathroom. Suddenly something touched her on the shoulder. It was Ryan. He kissed her shoulder and rubbed it. Tyler turned to face him and he kissed her.
She felt a sigh of relief thinking he wasn't going to say anything. He looked at her with his deep green eyes intensely.
"Good morning," he said with a smirk. Tyler looked at him a smiled. He was still staring at her. Butterflies filled her stomach. Then she thought, I was just a good fuck. I mean nothing to him, nothing at all. She quickly frowned.
"What's wrong?" He said softly.
"Oh nothing, just thinking." Tyler lied.
"No tell me."
"Nothing it doesn't matter. I'm gonna go get something to drink."
Tyler got up and grabbed some water. She looked at the clock. 7:50 am. She was supposed to be home at 8. She took a last sip of her drink and ran to Ryan's room. She took off his oversized shirt and started putting on her clothes as fast as she could.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm late." Tyler said almost out of breath.
"Here let me give you a ride."
"No." She said almost instantly. "Emily will see you, I was supposed to be at Sarah's." She put on her shirt and grabbed her things.
"Well at least come here." His naked body got up and walked towards her. He pulled her in for a hug and she could feel him on her. He pulled out of the hug and held her shoulders. His deep green eyes stared into her blue ones. He put his fingers through her hair and let her leave.
Tyler got a ride home on the bus as fast as she could. She walked into the door of what used to be her brothers house. Emily hugged her as she walked in the door.
"What's going on?" Tyler questioned.
"It's just, your safe." She said. "On the news there was a shooting around Sarah's house and I tried to call but my phone had been disconnected for some reason." The grip got tighter on the hug. Tyler hugged her back.
"Thanks for worrying, but I'm fine. Everything is fine. I'm gonna call Sarah to make sure she still alright."
She texted her.
U ok? - Tyler
Yeah I'm fine where were you- Sarah
I ended up falling asleep at our beach house. - Tyler
Ok as long as your safe.. But the shooting happened right next door... I was so scared. He was almost at my house and he saw me, but he ran. Tyler I was so so scared. -Sarah
Omg I'm so sorry I should have been there, I'm coming over right now- Tyler.
Tyler still hadn't told Sarah about Ryan.
"Emily, Sarah is still shooken up I'm gonna go over there again to make sure she's alright."
"Ok honey be safe, come home before 10 am. I'm making breakfast."
"Ok Em." She ran to Sarah's house as fast as she could. When there she knocked on the door. Sarah was in the floor..... Bleeding.
"Omigosh what happened?!" Tyler ran over to Sarah.
She pointed behind Tyler. Tyler turned her head to see a dark figure. He must have made her say that. Tyler stood up right next to Sarah. Behind her back she quickly dialed Ryan's phone number.
She stuck her phone in her pocket as quick as she could. The dark figure came closer and pointed a gun at her.
"Away from her." His deep voice said.
"Please, she's been shot, you can't let her just lay here. Please, put the gun down."
She quickly put her head down hoping that Ryan could hear this.
"Sarah's house," Tyler said, secretly clueing Ryan, if he was listening. "Why here."
"I said shut up!" The gun was now pointed on her temple and she was pinned to the wall.
"Stop struggling." His deep voice said again, "I'll shoot!"
His finger was on the trigger and she was sure he would pull it.
