2. New Life
Ezra's Mom's P.O.V.
I never enjoyed having to care for Ezra. She could care for herself. The only thing I wanted from her was to be a rule follower. Now I know the little bitch isn't since she's underage drinking. I don't even want to look at her. Kids always turn out to be retards.(hehe)
I had never been so mad at my mom in my life. So I decided to take one of their cars since I already had my driver's license, and they had 3 all together. I stuffed my now 5 bags into the trunk. This was all their fault couldn't they see that? If they didn't fight I wouldn't have drank. They've ruined my life from the start. Every happy moment was destroyed by them. I remember the day I got my driver's license.
I came running home with a piece of paper that proved I was responsible to drive a car. I burst through our front door smiling ear to ear.
" Mom! Dad! I passed! I passed my driver's test!!" I screamed the second I walked in. Instead of getting a congratulations I got a yell back, how nice.
" Shut up! We are watching the T.V.! And don't get excited there is no way you are driving anywhere anytime young lady! Seeing as you are the daughter of this bitch!" My dad yelled back. Then the fighting began. Just like that. I started crying instantly. They ruined the one moment I've dreamed about my whole life. Why was my only question.
I snapped out of my moment and shoved the key in and started the car. Wiping tears I drove until I didn't know where I was and until I ran out of gas. I ended up pulling into a small coffee shop called Morning Sunshine. I walked in and ordered a pumpkin spice latte (*lol I couldn't resist*). I sat there until a lady that looked like she was in her 30's came and delivered my order. She looked at my mascara smeared face and frowned.
" Having a bad day?" she questioned me. I looked up to meet her eyes.
" You have no idea. I got kicked out of my house." I softly said. She gasped when I said this. I was started to get irritated. Why would she care about my personal business?
I was about to tell her to go away when she loudly and happily said," You know we are looking for help around here. You look like you need a job hun." she said smiling
I shot up when she said this. "Really?" I questioned. She nodded. This could be a new beginning for me. A do-over. A new life entirely. A beam of hope was finally presenting itself in my life.
