She's beautiful. I love her dirty blonde hair, her green eyes, and her smile. But I don't even know her name.
I just got back from coming from her house. She just asked me for simple things. Clothes, books, and girl stuff.
I dump her bag right in the passenger seat and look at her. "I got your stuff"
"Hey, what's your name?"
" Sarah. And I already know who you are."
"You-You're a fan?" I stutter.
"I'm not into boy bands, but I like your music."
"We're not a boy band."
"Well I don't know, I think you're a boy band."
" We are not. Tell me what makes us a boy band."
" Um...you guys are all boys and in a band."
"There are bands like that, but we play instruments, we don't have choreography, and we're way cooler than a boy band."
"Well I don't think that last one counts," she giggles.
I laugh too. Then I find myself staring at her for a bit too long.
"I'm sorry, you're just really beautiful," I say looking down.
" Thanks, nobody ever called me that besides my mom and grandfather," her smiles goes away and looks down.
Uh oh, I didn't mean to make her sad. She must have lost them.
" I'm sorry, didn't mean to make you sad," I apologized.
" It's fine," she fake smiles," We should get going before it gets dark."
" Yeah," I say turning around starting the engine.
For the ride I think about my mom and grandfather. I stop because I don't want to be sad and then everyone keeps asking what's wrong. For the rest of the ride I count the zombies that walk along the road.
"We're here," Calum says pulling up to a golf course.
He shuts off the engine.
" You guys live here?"
"Yeah. There a golf house that we camp out in."
I move a bit and see the house.
"Wait. Why should I trust you?"
" I saved you first of all and second of all I care. At first we thought that we were the only ones alive, but we realized that it couldn't be and that our families are still alive."
I nod,"I trust you, Calum. Just to let you know."
Calum gets out the car and walks to my side and opens the door, so I can get out. He helps me along the way and carries my bag and basket.
When we get to the door, Calum does a special knock and I hear a couple locks being unlocked. The door opens and reveals Michael Clifford.
"Who's the lady?," Michael winks at me.
" A least let me set her down first," Calum says.
We walk into the lobby area which they used as a living room, I guess. Calum lays me down on the couch and Calum announces," I'm home and I want everyone to come down and meet someone."
Michael came back from locking the door and sat on the couch across from me. Then Calum sat on the edge of the couch where my feet rested.
I hear foot steps coming the stairs and hear a voice say," Calum you better not have brought back another wild chicken!"
Luke walks into the room and is surprised to see me and blushed. He sits down right next to Michael. Ashton walks in sleeply like he just woken up from a nap or something."This better be good. I hope it's not another chicken," he mumbles and his gaze meets me. He grins.
" Why did you guys think I brought another chicken home after the last time," he wonders.
" Oh I don't know maybe because the last couple times you actually did bring home a chicken," Michael responds.
"How did you even find wild chicken out here? We're in California," I ask because that's like impossible.
"I just see them all lonely at abandon farms and I just take them in and- never mind that. Well this is Sarah, Sarah you already know who these guys are," Calum explains,"I found her in a store with a shelf on top of her and a zombie was about to attack and I helped her."
One by one Michael, Luke, and Ashton shook my hand.
They seem like great guys.
Sorry I haven't updated this week.
Well what do you think this going to turn out like, for the best or the worst.....?
Will one of them turn on her? Or the other way around?
