5. Chapter 5
Aida felt cold and scared while she was in that cage. And it wasn't a smooth drive either. She laid down and attempted to sleep but failed because the car would bounce up and down every five minutes.
The ride took forever. But when she finally did get there, a man gruffly grunted ad slammed her little door open. He grabbed her and put a leash on her and dragged her along inside the pound.
It looked really scary. Aida whimpered and tried to pull the leash off. The guy just pulled her more and grunted again.
Before she knew it, she was put in a little cage with another dog. The other dog'a scent was familiar. She stepped a little closer to him as he turned to face her and growled lifting his paw up. It was the dog that saved her and told her to leave the alley.Aida backed up a little to the cage wall. He stopped growling and put his ears down at this sight. He sat down and turned the other way not wanting to see to her. "What are you doing here, mutt." He barked roughly afterwards. Aida didn't answer.
Hours passed by in utter silence. It was soon nighttime and Aida had had a long day. She curled up in the corner not wanting to face him.
