It was raining again, and the darkness was covering the sky. It felt lonely being stuck inside my room but I didn't want to go out because my sister's snobby friends were over. So I sat on my bed drawing in my notebook and staring out my window as the rain poured down. All of a sudden I heard something hit the window. It was a light tapping sound so nothing too big. I peered down and saw Drew standing in the rain tossing little pebbles up at my window. I jumped off my bed and ran down the stairs then out the door.
"What are you doing?" I asked as the rain splashed against my cheeks.
"I wanted to talk." He chuckled.
"In the rain?" I cocked my eyebrow.
"Okay then lets talk." I giggled.
He took my hand in his and led me down the road. We sat under a big tree that covered us from the cool rain. He rain his hand through his wet hair then looked at me with his bright blue eyes causing my heart to flutter.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked.
"I wanted to tell you something about Wes." He stated.
"He's very fragile but I notice that when he's around you he smiles."
"Is that bad?"
"No that's good but I'm afraid of him getting hurt."
"I'm not saying that you'd hurt him but the last time he was in a relationship she cheated on him..."
"Then she died." I muttered.
"How do you know?" He asked.
"He told me the other day." I sighed.
"He did? That's odd."
"Yeah, because Wesley doesn't like to tell people what's bothering him. The only ones who knew about her death was Keaton and I." He sighed.
"I won't tell anyone. I promise." I smiled softly.
"I believe you, but can you keep your sister away from him?"
"I wish." I sighed.
"I feel like she's gonna be a problem." He muttered.
"She is one big problem." I mumbled.
"How are you guys so different?"
"I have no idea." I giggled.
