My dad was reluctant to let me leave the house alone, ever since Rita came into our lives, but I finally got him to agree to let me go to the ice rink. I told him that I would call him if something happens. When I got to the ice rink, I put my skates on and went skating around. I know that I’ll have to tell the others, but right now, this will be my secret.
I did a couple of tricks and landed them perfectly. I’m really good at this, but I’m not confident. I know that my mom used to skate and she even competed and won lots of medals. My dad thinks that it would be a good idea if I started skating, and here I am. My dad also thinks that I should start competing, and the more I think about it, the more I’m leaning toward doing it. I might wait till after Rita is gone because I don’t want innocent people to get hurt.
As I was doing one of my tricks, I heard a noise, so after I landed, I looked to the center of the rink, and saw Capri with some putties. I figured Rita would send her here to keep me busy. I got ready for a fight, and the putties came at me. I fought them off, in ice skates mind you, and was beating them batty.
After I beat all the putties, I looked at Capri, ready for a fight with her. She seems to run off when it’s her turn to fight, and that tells me that Rita doesn’t trust her, and that lets me know that Capri isn’t fully evil. Capri just looked at me before being teleported back to wherever Rita is.
I took my skates off and headed to the Command Center. I was shocked to see Alpha running around like a chicken with its head cut off, but Zordon filled me in. I was praying that Kimberly could land the plane safely. I was happy when Kimberly landed the plane and ran to help the others.
I felt bad that I couldn’t help the others, but I knew that I could help them in other ways. After the gang beat the monster, I met them at the Youth Center. Jason greeted me with a kiss on the cheek, and I leaned into him. I giggled as Jason and Zack were gagging at Kimberly and this guy.
This is why I’m glad we moved here. I know that my dad is thinking about moving us again, but I’m not going to leave. I’m not going to say anything until my dad says something first. I guess I’ll know what’s going to happen at a later date.
