I don't know who I am. I don't know where I am. I don't know what happened to me. The only thing I do know is the fact that I woke up in a small room to the sound of someone trying to break the door down. This is the story about how I learn the true reasons of becoming lost in my own world. I learned to love. I hoped for safety. I lost my way. I trusted nobody.

13. Surprise?

The day went by smoothly. Even though the student who was supposed to be showing me around never showed up, I still managed to find myself in the right lessons from memories and the little help Trudy gave me. Somehow, running around the Calina High's large corridors managed to bring back every little detail of where each and every classroom was.

Now it was lunch. Unfortunately I got kept behind in Maths due to the teacher wanting answers to where I had been. I just replied simply that I don't know because I can't remember anything and if there was anything she wanted me to do. That led to a load of homework to catch up on as well as the homework the class received today.

"Kaitlyn?" I turned my head in the direction of the voice I recognized too well. Within seconds of walking into the canteen, Zack had caught me. Wait, Zack comes here? Since when did Zack come to this school. We did everything together. School. Work. Hunting. Family meals. Everything. Oh man! Why didn't I think of that before? "Where have you been?"

"At home, where else?" I question back, immediately feeling uncomfortable in this situation. Should I tell him or not? I really don't know what to do now.

"I thought you went back to the wolf pack." His tone didn't look like it was going get any happier anytime soon. Folding his arms, Zack looked like he was about to explode. Not literally, mentally of course. "Been enjoying your food?" Zack gestured towards the tiny baby bump that I wasn't hiding very well.

"Well I know I have, don't know about the baby though." Uh oh, maybe I shouldn't have said that right away.

"The what?!" Gasping at the shock, Zack dragged me out the double doors on the other side of the canteen. He didn't let go of me until we reached the edge of the Dark Forest on the outskirts of Calina High School's field. "Please tell me you didn't just say what I thought you just said."

"Why, is there a problem with me eating while I'm pregnant?!" I pull myself out of Zack's tight grasp on my wrist. Staring into his eyes, I knew I shouldn't have come out with the news that I was pregnant right in the middle of this situation.

"You're pregnant?!" He hissed, practically spitting in my face. "How the heck did you manage that, Kaitlyn?!"

"I don't know!" I run both hands through my hair. "If I did, I wouldn't be here right now, would I?!"

"Do you know who the father is?" Wow, this time Zack's words were fairly peaceful compared to the rest of this heated conversation. When I shook my head in response, I knew for a fact that I should get out of here before anything gets out of hand. Just as I turn to go back to the school, Zack said the one thing I really wasn't expecting. "I don't care what you do anymore. I'm out of here. You need to sort yourself out, Kaitlyn Sierra. You need to sort this out before you end up getting killed."

And then he was gone. What was all that about? I've only been staying with my Uncle for the last month. That's a good thing, right? Wait, if it was a good thing, Zack wouldn't be freaking out the way is right now. What does he mean by sorting myself before I get killed? Was there something that I didn't know about? I need answers and I need them now.
